Nice!
A little pricier than the other slippers that I've purchased, but you get what you pay for. I read other reviews on this product and thought it would make a great gift. The leather is a nice deep chocolate brown, which I preferred because it wouldn't show spots and spills. The slipper is only slightly tight/narrow when they arrived, especially at the seams -- like all new leather. After wearing them for a few hours, the leather has begun to give and fits the shape of my foot perfectly. The lining is a nice cream colored pile, Thick enough to provide warmth all through the shoe, but not too thick that I can't wear socks if I want to. The shoe also has a hard sole, which makes it perfect for a brief trip outside. Since this is suede leather, I'd be careful about going out in the rain or snow though - not only for the staining, but the shoe will loose its shape and great fit.Other than the sole, the slipper is soft all over, there's no "rub" on the back of the ankle either. For those who can't wear hard shoes or have foot or circulation problems, these slippers can be a good substitute shoe, especially in darker colors, since they are both comfortable and attractive.I made my purchase on the Amazon during the Black Friday sale. There were some problems with the site and my shipping address was wrong. I immediately contacted Amazon through chat and the Amazon seller "ShoeMall" by phone. They resolved my problem, and my order arrived at my corrected address quickly.Shoemall customer service was very nice. Amazon chat was busy, but polite and efficient. Not sure if I'd do the Black Friday event again, but I'd definitely purchase through Amazon or Shoemall again!

Nice...Except for the Fit
First of all, I had ordered a different brand of slipper, but, after ordering, I got a notice that Amazon couldn't get them from the company for whatever reason. These Tamaracs were my second choice.I read the other reviews and was on the fence over which size to get. Some reviews said get the next size larger while others said get your regular size because the slippers will stretch out. Rather than have slippers that eventually fell off my feet, I ordered my size. They were, of course, too tight. And, oddly enough, the left slipper was shorter than the right. The reason it's odd is that I know for a fact that my left foot is slightly smaller than my right, so these slippers were really off the mark. However, needing slippers right then, I didn't want to send them back and wait for more of the same, so I put shoe stretchers in them for a couple days. The width was much better after than, and there was some small amount of stretching in the length of the left one. After over a week, they're wearable but not the most comfortable I've ever had. They seem to be sturdy enough, allow me to go outside without acorns and stones hurting the soles of my feet (I live in the woods), and I like the way they look. But when I pay over $30 for a pair of slippers, I expect them to FIT!It's carelessness on the part of the company to not make sure the sizing is correct and, certainly, that both the left and right slippers in a pair are the same length. These inconsistencies seem to have become standard for what we can buy in America. Even if these were made outside the US, it's the company's responsibility to be sure the workmanship is of good quality. That's not happening; the almighty dollar is the goal, not products to be proud of or customer satisfaction. Such a shame!

Moccasins for house wear
I previously owned a similar pair from LLB**n that I loved. They no longer carry this product. When I found these shoes I was excited. I purchased a size 8 as my previous pair that fit well. These are cut much smaller all over. A size 9 would have been too big. I'm so sad. The time and effort to have returned them wasn't worth the trouble.

I love these slippers
I love these slippers. I can't share the experience of other costumers because I have a tiny foot to begin with so the size 5 was just fine. They stretch a bit with wearing and I can slip them off my feet whenever and they stay on when I have them on (they don't flop around or fall off my feet.) I love the color, the fit and look of them. It loses a start because the leather string used for the lace broke off and they were impossible to tie because the lace was now so short. Also, they are impossible to tie back the way they came. My 2 year old untied the other one and I was never able to tie them back the way they were and they keep coming undone and look terrible. The sole and the slipper itself are in pretty good condition and if it weren't for the messed up laces, I probably could keep these through the rest of the year, no problem.

Very comfortable
These moccasins are very comfortable. They were a little tight when I first got them, but I was able to quickly break them in. The strings came apart soon after buying, but I still love them.

Poorly assembled but SO COZY
I'd like to say that these shoes/slippers are the best I've had. Because they are. BUT they fall apart too easily. The lace came undone after 2 wears and now idk how to tie it back. The string holding the toe piece and the bottom are coming undone. Overall great shoe just poorly assembled.

Tamarac Sippers
The lest slipper s a little snug on the tow but the right is just fine. Being cow hide, I am sure i will stretch out a little and be fine. Good quality , made well.

Extremely comfortable
Love these. I spent a lot of time looking for comfortable and well made slippers that I could also wear outside on my back patio. These are extremely comfortable and have a sturdy sole that is not slippery when walking on hardwood or tiles.

Love them
Im impressed with the quality, the only mistake i made was I bought wide for the fit, because Im usually needing a wider shoe. Im sure i could have easily bought regular fit and it would have been perfect. Still work great tho, just now I can wear socks with them and they aren't tight.
