Used it on a shop ramp. Provides good traction. No slippage.

This product is magnificent! I have usually used Home Depot porch paint, but this paint exceeds the quality of that way beyond! It’s a little pricey, and it has a strong odor, but it’s an excellent product!

I purchased this deck paint based on reviews from several sites. Sounded expensive but worth it since it was paint designed for boats and made to last. I ordered on Amazon in June of 2019. I prepped my deck by power washing, letting it dry thoroughly. I followed their directions but found out that I needed twice as much paint just to cover with one coat. Also, I ordered the color "Sand" but thought they may have mixed up their labels because it was pretty bright white. Since my wife said it was alright, I stayed with it. For the summer, the paint looked fine. I thought that I would not need to repaint for years. I was wrong. After one Michigan winter, it looks awful. I'm not sure I can paint over it with anything else. I will have to research it or ask the company. Seems like the company was hard to find online last year, so will have to try now.

Used on a wheelchair ramp I built, and coverage was very good with a brush on plywood. Some reviewers seemed to complain, but I had zero issue on wood. I used 2 coats but really didn’t need to, the first coat was great (shake well, stir often to keep the grit suspended for brushes). Remember this isn’t a gallon container (it’s a quart), but for my ramp a solid 2 coats on a 36” x 30” ramp, both sides didn’t use 1/2 the can. So far so good, but I am in S CA so weathering isn’t going to be really tested on mine.

Very small can but works fantastic

Our dog’s back legs don’t work very well anymore, and I wanted to buy a ramp so he could go outside with needing us to carry him. My husband dug around in our garage, found an old door, and some bricks, and made something remarkably stable. And free!! Hooray!! But it got slippery from dew or when it rained, and something needed to change. Poor rickety dogs need to trust the surface below them. So we bought this paint, there was enough for two coats, and it’s absolutely perfect. The dog trusts it, he doesn’t slip, and we’ve been granted a few more months (I hope) of doggy mobility.

Put on small deck off my toy hauler , 7x7 ,using 3/8 nap roller 1qt quart would not cover area, I bought extras from reading reviews it took 4 qts to double coat ,had planed on three, put on in the sun ,then put heaters on it 2 days later it still has not cured ,you can scrape off with finger nail , Very expensive for low quality product , it it dosen't cure soon ,I will hv to see if I can get my money back , the roller I used ,it's been setting out side still not dried

No,it is not a lot of product. It needs to be purchased in gallon sized amounts to use for the majority of applications. Especially because it works so well yet is so easy on bare feet,both people and pets. I would purchase this by the gallon and keep a gallon hand for touchups. Even with frost,torrential rain,and ice the non slip factor in this paint performs we!l. And let me add this was an undercoat with porch floor paint(enamel)applied over it and it performs this well. So allow us to buy an adequate size please and thank you ,manufacturers. You have a great product!
