I was experiencing back and hip pain when waking up, so I started to use a standard size pillow between my knees. It helped with the pain, but was very cumbersome. Every time I moved, I had to find and readjust it, and my sheets would come loose and get tangled. I thought I'd give this knee pillow a try instead, and I'm very happy I did! I keep the pillow loosely tied to one leg, which keeps it in place and prevents it from straying far. The size is perfect and it's super comfortable. I'm very pleased with this purchase, and recommend it to everyone who suffers back and hip pain.

After going to urgent care to get an injection on my lower back due to intolerable sciatica pain, I went home and was told to take ibuprofen (my understanding is Doctors now won’t prescribe opiate pain killers due to sharp rises in addictions). While NSAIDS provided temporary relief, I was having difficulty sleeping at night, with pain waking me up...After continuous research, I was surprised to find out side sleepers may experience lower back problems, and that a Knee Pillow could provide relief. At that point I was willing to try anything so I ordered the Aveston knee pillow, which arrived quickly. To my relief, the first night using the pillow I was able to sleep through and woke up feeling little back pain! Imagine how grateful I felt! It was hard to believe that where years ago I had to be on Vicodin for my herniated disks, now I could use a simple knee pillow to find relief! What a God sent!

The pillow is a good size, but it's not as firm as I had hoped. I really like the velcro leg strap, but it appears that the second cover doesn't have a strap.Update: I lowered the review from 4 stars to 1 star...I haven't been using the pillow for a month yet and it has completely collapsed. I might as well not even use it anymore, as it doesn't do it job.

Very comfortable and it works! I’m 5’11 225 pounds and this is thick, breatheable and cool. I really like it. Knees don’t touch.

I really like this knee pillow. One thing that you need to know is that it is very firm. That being said I think it will hold its shape longer than some of the softer ones. I have owned this pillow for all of three nights, but I can already confidently speak to its benefits. But first a little background...I suffer from 3 slightly herniated disks in my lower back, so I know the annoyance of chronic back pain. To make matters worse, I am also a habitual side sleeper. Before this pillow, there have been mornings - about half the time - that the pain is such that I have to strategize how to get out of bed without crumbling onto the floor. I'm also a light sleeper, so the back pain has me waking up repeatedly to try to find a less painful position. Mornings sucked for me.Along came this funny looking pillow that I frankly thought were just for women. In my defense, when was the last time you saw a picture of a man straddling one of these buggers? Anyway, I strapped the pillow on to one of my legs, just above the knee, right before calling it a night, turned on my side and conked out pretty quickly. I woke up in the a.m. with no memory of waking during the night to readjust, and found myself in pretty much the same exact position as the night before. First thing I noticed was the pain -- I ain't gonna lie to you, it doesn't completely go away, but I would estimate it my lower back feeling about 70-75% better than the morning before. Wanting to be objective as possible about my review, I reserved judgement and slept with it another couple of nights, and experienced the same results. Wow.If you sleep on your side and often wake up with a cranky back in the morning, you NEED to try this pillow. It's such a small thing, but it really does help keep your body in a more natural position, relieving some of the pressure on your back. So far, I'm very pleased with this purchase. My only very small complaint is the strap - I'm about 6'1" and around 240, and I found it to be unnecessarily long, considering the location of its velcro pieces. I would also wish for a wider strap for a more secure hold -- maybe 3" instead of the ~1" strap provided. It flops around a bit if I move, but I can adapt and it otherwise works brilliantly.4.5/5

It most definitely is worth it! Ever since I've used it, I don't have lower back pain like I used to while sleeping. The pillow is soft, but firm enough to create the space needed between the knees. This is a must-have for side sleepers who have lower back problems.

This was worth every penny! Both my husband and I have back issues (middle aged first world problems...lol) and we always used big bulky pillows to place between our knees, not convenient. Then I went on Amazon and found this product. What a great product at a really great price! It is comfortable and it comes with a pillow cover!!! I highly recommend this product and promise you will not be disappointed.

Bought to aid sleeping with a bad back. Have used a pillow for 18 months and am surprized at the relief of pain.

Love this knee pillow, works a treat. Only down side is spare cover has no holes for velcro strap to go through.
