Caruso SalonPro Professional Molecular Steam Hairsetter

I took a chance on this steam hot roller concept. I have used hot rollers for years on my shoulder length, fine hair. It is a loser curl than a typical hot rollers. However, very natural looking, (so it looked nice). I was blown away by the texture of my hair after using it. Normally, my hair is dry and slightly frizzy because I have it lightened. The steam/water made my hair, soft and much healthier looking!! I wasn’t expecting that bonus. I also swapped out the plastic encompassing clips that accompanied the rollers for my wire metal clips. They worked much better for me. The plastic clips made an indent on my hair. I used a little bit of salt in the water to help produce steam. It’s pretty powerful for a little gadget. I placed the hot roller on the steamer for about 15 seconds or so. If you have thicker hair, you might need to give it more time. The hair is sometimes slightly damp after unrolling. I just scrunch it up and leave it a few minutes to dry. I would definitely recommend this product. It took me a day or two to adjust from what I was used to with the regular hot rollers. But I love them!

The only thing I was upset I never reciever the storage bag that was suppose to come with it.

I’ve owned these rollers over the past 20+ years. This is my 2nd set. These “steam” rollers never leave my hair with any frizz and the curls last for a few days. Best of all, they’re so portable. Small & compact.

I am really disappointed in this purchase. I use the larger clips because of the length and style of my hair and the clips to hold the rollers in place are TERRIBLE!! They do not work and there is no other way to secure the rollers. The concept of steam rollers is a good one and the curls seem to last longer but the ill-fitting clips made usage of this product frustrating and time consuming. I do not recommend this product.

I have used these steam rollers for 35 years. They are so gentle on my hair and the curl is great. I read the reviews talking about the clips not holding the curlers in, but I thought "it's been such a great product for so long, it can't be that bad". Well, I was wrong. It is that bad. I'm going to try to buy some clips to hold the rollers in. Shame on Caruso charging that much money for a product that is so flawed!

The only hair setter that locks curl into my straight thin hair WITHOUT damaging it. Been a Caruso customer for 41 or more years!

I love these curlers. They are so super easy to use. My curls last about 2 days. They are kind to your hair. No extreme heat just steam. The steam sets the curl. The curls will last through high humidity.

This is really nice product, but the lid is a little hard to get off after using it.

I like the concept of steam rollers. However, the clips are awkward and they do not hold the hair tight. I have long hair and I tried adding Bobby pins to help secure the hair.Now I have to buy another style of hair clip just to hold the little flimsy foam roller! Wow!Very disappointed for this product that is way overpriced!What a waste of money!
