Conditioning Scalp Mud 150ml/5floz

I've been dealing with itchy, frustrating psoriasis for 18 mos. despite several dr appts and prescriptions. This has not cured it but it has relieved the redness. I have very long/thick hair so I wasn't sure how easy using it would be to use. After washing my hair I separate the back into a few sections, place the mud on my finger tips, and rub it into the scalp. It's the only time my scalp isn't driving me crazy. I get a a lot of relief from using it and it has helped with the red, raised, and sore scalp problems I was suffering from. I'll keep it as part of my usual scalp care routine.

I was introduced to this product from a friend who lived in the UK and brought it back with him. I was amazed at its quality -- leaves hair feeling soft, full, and healthy. This coming from a woman who colors her hair and has very fine hair. I also have used it on my daughters (teens who have THICK, healthy hair) and the results are the same. It wasn't available at all in the states for a long time -- and I ordered it for twice as much directly from a distributor in England. I was very happy to see it offered on Amazon. I have used all kinds of hair conditioner -- pureology, etc. -- and this is by far the best. I don't write reviews of many products, but this one is a gem.

I like how this product is really light even though it seems like it would be really heavy because of the muddy texture. It doesn't cause build-up at all and my hair feels well conditioned (great combo!). I bought it because I have a really dry scalp and my scalp has seemed more healthy, but I don't know if that's because of this product or something else I've been trying.My one complaint is the smell. The first time I used it I likened the scent to that of a stinky horse, but in my most recent use I was thinking that it sort of just smells like nature. Maybe it's just growing on me. Either way, the scent doesn't stay on your hair after you use it (like most perfumed hair products) so it doesn't matter. I really like this product so far.

I suffer from Scalp Psoriasis, prescription medication is too harsh and TGel stinks!This scalp mask provides a soothing relief, has a nice natural scent to it that doesn’t stick around too long. It does not clear psoriasis (and it doesn’t say it will) but it does soothe it. My scalp is not itchy all day long anymore. In addition, my scalp health is better as I can see it in my hair. It is soft, flowy, healthy looking hair now. The mask has become a regular part of my hair routine. And, as always, perfect packing/shipping/delivery with Amazon Fulfillment.

The product leaves my hair feeling soft and hydrated. However, it does not stop the itching, which was no main purpose for purchasing the product.

Now first off, I read reviews saying it smelled like mud... I'm wondering what they received because what I received did not smell, look, or feel like mud. If I had anyway to describe it I would describe it as very soft clay. It sort of even smelled clay-ish too. I used this every time I showered until it was finished.The pros: I have sensitive skin/scalp and have to use non fragrance shampoo/conditioner. I didn't have a reaction while using this and didn't have to stop using it so that was good.The cons: It doesn't lather. I had difficulty applying it to my scalp as a result and it was annoying. I had to part my hair and apply some, then part my hair again and apply some more....Bottom Line: It worked... a bit. There was a definite difference in my scalp AND hair, especially at first. However I still had dry scalp even if there was an improvement. After a while it seemed to me like there would not be a further improvement than what I already had.... if that makes sense. Will I buy another? If I don't find anything else, although I hope I do because I need something better.

I love this product. I first used it in England in 2014 on a visit home. My sister sends me some every Christmas, but this year I decided to see if I could get it online, which of course I did. I have straight hair that gets matted when wet, but this shampoo, and the conditioner, really clean and also make my hair really manageable. I definitely will be ordering more.

Wish I would have went with my gut and not purchased this. I was having a lot of luck with dead sea products on my face so I said what the heck. It didn't help at all!

Non so cosa farei se un giorno lo togliessero dal commercio. Ho un problema di cute secchissima con dermatite che 5 dermatologi non hanno saputo risolvere. Lo applico dopo lo shampoo e massaggio per qualche minuto

Would use it again, even good for allergic people....

I've had scalp psoriasis for years now and was getting a bit fed up of how little all the steroid ointments and coal tar based things were doing. I tried this and cannot imagine washing my hair without it now! I was really anxious before buying it as I didn't want to get my hopes up and perhaps buy something that had no difference at all but the soothing relief from this alone is worth it. In terms of psoriasis in particular, this turns my large plaques into tiny ones, more like dandruff. It just feels much more comfortable on top of my scalp and falls out more easily after my hair is dried. I prefer this as then I don't have to worry as much about a huge plaque being stuck in my thick black hair! I usually leave it for maybe 10mins directly on my scalp and it really does sooth the area so much. It also makes my hair a lot softer despite me not actually running it through. I've tried the shampoo from the same company and didn't find it to be as conditioning as this but obviously everyones hair is different.I honestly cannot recommend this product enough if you suffer from scalp psoriasis. It may not cure it or even decrease the area it covers at all, but it can make it incredibly less bothersome.

Honestly I see so many of these 'OMG it works!' reviews, I get my hopes up and then it's another dud product. The thing is, everyone has different skin cells, immune systems etc. What works for one does not work for another. This review is purely my personal experience with the product. For me it is exceptional. I usually use every day until my scalp gets back into a stable condition. It is important to massage into the scalp and leave for about 5 minutes. Rinse with warm, but not hot water. My only issue is I wish the amount was more, it's quite pricey for the quantity. But if something helps your body then pricey shouldn't be a factor.

I've had psoriasis for over thirty years and recently discovered this product. Decided to try it after tearing at my scalp for years and nothing else ever helping. This stuff has been AMAZING for me. The relief is so lovely...no itching at all and a massive reduction in the skin build up on my scalp. I shampoo and condition with either the dead sea spa shampoo and conditioner or The Body Shop Ginger shampoo and conditioner and then apply the mud to my scalp and leave it for about 10-20 mins and then rinse it off. Doesn't smell bad at all, especially when compared to some of the medicated products that are supposed to help but don't. Leaves hair really soft too. Couldn't recommend it enough!
