Works great as a starter tank!
Very bright at first, but I got used to it. The white light has seemed to help my coral (Zoas) grow but may be a little too much at times. They love the blue light! There is only 2 light options, no dimming or timer. Very easy to use. Did not fit my tank using the built in stand but I made it work. The light did get warm but not excessive. Long cable which is great. Happy with this purchase!

Great saltwater reef Light for my nano tank
We love it. So far it works great for our 5 gal tank reef tank we started adding a few coral too. Highly recommended ... it just doesn't have a timer so u have to change the light from white to blue and off, but other then that it is great.

Perfect replacement to 3.7gallon Nano tank
Honestly, I was looking for a cheaper light to replace the stock one that came with this tank. The tank shown is the Petco’s Imagitarium Deluxe Pro 3.7 gallons (glass). After all the lights I saw on Amazon, It came down between this one and a similar one by Aqua (aqua something) that was almost half the cost. I went with this more expensive one due to having 3 modes (White/Blue, Blue, Off). The original one that comes with this tank has White Only option ( 4 total) vs this one that you can’t make it white only, which is not an issue to me.This one purchased is noticeably brighter, but fit perfectly with my tank w/ no issues. Apparently, this one is 13watts (had to dig into the forums to find out), vs 3 watts from my original light. I do keep this fish tank away from any windows, so I’m confident algae won’t be an issue. To note, this is a first impression review. If anything changes or I have any additional comments that can help a perspective buyer, I’ll revise this review.I would have given a solid 5 stars if the light was designed to raise upwards to be out of the way when I have to clean the tank or if I have to remove/add fish or decor; versus needing to completely remove the light. Also for the price, a timer feature would have been nice.

Absolutely love them
I was really impressed with these lights. I got one to try it out and after a few days I decided to get a second set to add more coverage to my 20g reef. It’s been a couple of months now and I’m getting a ton of coraline algae with it. My corals are also really enjoying it. I strongly recommend them for shallow reef systems. Not ideal for deep tanks. They are not strong enough for SPS corals, but LPS and softies seem to love it.They do not have a timer, but you can buy a cheap timer at Walmart. The only problem is that you can only use the timer with both white and blue on. If you want to use just the blue lights, you will have to push the button on the top as it’s set to turn on with both lights on first. Since I like having both Lights on at the same time, it was not an issue for me. There is also no way to adjust the percentage of intensity for either white or blue. Again, not an issue for what I wanted to accomplish. They are very simple, functional and cheap. They are super easy to install. Great buy for the money... especially if you are just now getting started in the hobby, have a quarantine tank or a refugium.

Don’t get it wet
I like the lighting aspect, I would say it is hard to stabilize the mounting on some tanks. It fell in the tank this morning while I was cleaning my 20 gallon tall saltwater tank. It didn’t get completely submersed as I grab it immediately. Now only the white lights work. 😭I am not too upset since I can use the light on a reefless tank. I really want a light that is programmable and dimmable. That being said, this is a good light for tanks with a bare edge. I gave it 3 stars because it is advertised to be suitable for reef tanks but it lacks the versatility a reef tank needs.

Nice little LED light.
Nice little clamp on LED light for small aquariums up to to 20 gallons. This is not programmable, not dimmable, and it doesn't come with a remote, but I was not looking for those features. Good purchase.

Deceptive item description
This item is the exact product that Aqueon sells for planted aquariums which is much cheaper in store as well as online. there is no difference other then the name printed on the device. I purchased both to compare when I opened them up they are the same light. It’s a shame really the marketing and video make this light look speacial but the truth is there isn’t anything special about it

Cora life continues to offer great products at actually decent prices
Coralife isn’t like some manufacturers who ramp up the price of a couple leds because it has marine on them. These work! Really well and I’m happy I bought them. You should too! :)
