Psylins SCART Adapter - RCA, SVHS, Composite Audio Video converter Gold Plated All 21 pins connected

I had a video editing project that I needed to do, taking some old home video footage off a VHS video tape. The ancient video player I had dug out of the loft had a SCART output port. I wanted to capture the footage on my laptop, and so I had bought the Easycap USB 2.0 Video capture device as well as this SCART adapter. The two worked very well together and I was able to capture the video footage I needed on my laptop. This adapter is probably a must if you want to record footage off any of your old VHS tapes and you don't have a SCART to Phono cord.

This is a great little device if you don't have sufficient AV outputs (or inputs for that matter as its switchable) on your equipment. I needed an extra output from my satellite receiver to another TV in the bedroom and this plus a phono to phono lead did the job perfectly (and cheaply) whilst maintaining a good quality picture (far better than the RF output)and I still was able to connect my PVR and Cinema system to the Satellite receiver.A good quality product, well priced and solved an awkward problem.

This item looks ok, but I would if it was delivery within the time of ordering would be great, but sadly their was a short delay, since it has turned uo I found it wouldn't take a CCTV link up for recording a camera from a video to Tv, so it has found a new around the charity shop with other things. All I can say it was a great price, well design. but sadly cannot say if it done the job for being a switchable plug or not.

This a really useful piece of equipment. It not only allows the connection of RCA leads, it also allows the signal to pass through to another piece of equipment, such as a TV. The only reservation I have with the item is nothing to do with the way it works, or the quality, but the fact that when the passthrough is used, the whole thing becomes unbalanced and liable to lose the connection. The problem of Scart connectors in general, in my opinion. Otherwise, excellent.

good picture and clear sound

looks good on the tin but firstly the design of the scart means that the adaptor leads are upside down pointing downwards.. second after plugging in the scart lead from the tv. through adaptor the picture comes out black and white..then the build quaulity is naff. the video socket came out after taking out the video lead (could not use lead due to design of scart being upside down) this little adaptor could have been so good but will keep looking for something else

Worked for transferring whs content to the computer.

This is an incredibly useful product for situations where you need to switch from a scart plug to not one, but TWO scart socket options (RCA sockets or a scart socket). This was a high quality product that has lasted me for over 3 years. It provides clear audio and visual signals and is of a high quality, which is what has made it durable. This is a great product that does exactly what it's supposed to.
