Some white noise and loose USB socket
It does the job. However there's a noticeable white noise level when it's quiet, although not bad enough to be really distracting. Also the USB C socket (i.e. the one next to the 3.5mm audio socket) is a bit loose so the charging cable tends to fall out if it takes a bit of weight and is wriggled around for a while. It lacks the final snap that the phone socket has. (And no, it's not the usual lint-in-the-socket problem.)

Didn't last
The Google one failed after 6 months of constant use so I thought I'd get a different one and see if it would do any better. It didn't fit overly snug in in the phone (Google pixel 2) although while it worked it had good sound quality and worked but after a month of not overly heavy use it stopped working within a few days from when it first became temperamental.I would like a refund as it wasn't fit for use in my opinion, only lasting a month for over £10 however there was no option to contact the seller on Amazon. I will be going back to the Google converter as it lasted much longer, with more use and I think looks nicer.

Microphone doesn't work
I have a Pixel 2. This allows you to play music into headphones and charge at the same time. I use it in my car, and I wanted to be able to play music through the Aux input and use the microphone to talk to the Google assistant, but it turns off the phone microphone. The original Google dongle without the extra USB C port doesn't affect the microphone. However their customer service is brilliant, and they have responded to this review.

Doesn't work - not compatible with HTC U ULTRA
I bought this as I needed an adapter to attach an external microphone to my HTC U Ultra, but it didn't work.UPDATE: I was contacted with in a few hours and received a full refund, Even though there was nothing wrong with the product it just wasn't compatible with my phone. I've upgraded from a 1 star to 4 star because of their customer service.

Value for money but a little flimsy
Used this for about 6 or 7 months now, the little plastic sheath has become quite loose however still works perfectly.

Quirkcy headphone adaptor that stopped working
The one thing that really annoys me about usb-c phones is if they don't have a standard phono jack (and I'll never buy another again that doesn't). So, got this to try and sort that problem out. Worked great for about a month, then stopped working. If i fiddled with it, and held it up to the moon just right, then blew on it warmly, then kissed it lightly, it MIGHT work once in a while. Pffft. Lame.

Works for Razer Phone
Finally an adaptor that works as described. I've bought three other brands and they would all charge, but the audio didn't work. However, this sometimes doesn't work unless you start the audio first and then plug the charger in.

Works really well
Update: The seller reached out and sent me another cable. This works perfectly. Changing my review to reflect this. 1 star removed for the hassle.Old review: Absolute rubbish. Neither the headphone jack nor the charging worked. Returned.
