Extremely comfortable amazing shoes. The only problem is that they do Not hold up well for high intensity walking jobs such as delivery where you're walking on pavement and sidewalk frequently. The soft bottoms will wear down quickly like that. I was using them for Post Office work as a once per week Amazon Sunday and Holidays delivery position and in less than one year the bottom of the right shoe wore down enough to cause a twisted ankle because the outside edge had worn down enough to have me standing on an angle instead of a flat plane. If I was working an office job or a cash register style position in these I feel they would have lasted me a Lot longer, and before that twisted ankle I didn't want to wear any other shoe for the whole 9 months I had them because they were bliss to walk in and stand on. They literally feel like pillowy clouds with arch support that my whole legs and lower back felt the benefits of.

Not extra wide. They’re more narrow than any shoes I have ever seen marked wide, and the leather feels like that cheap grade leather. Sent back immediately. Couldn’t try them on as the opening was so narrow. Not impressed.

I work in the field of public safety and security where l am on my feet for 10 hours a day 5 days a week, these shoes were soft to the Feet; but the end result was Sore feet at the end of the day. Not recommend for public safety personnel.

These shoes are not heavyweight sturdy work shoes. These are very comfortable lightweight shoes. If they last two years, fine. I’ll buy a new pair. But during the two years that they last, my feet will be happy feet. If you want bulletproof, heavy duty shoes get at pair of Dunham Alpine waterproof shoes. They have a similar wide last but they are about 2X heavier. Making for fatigue. If you want shoes that are like strapping light pillows on your feet, these are for you. Buy a size larger than you regularly wear. In cold weather, layer a couple of thick wool socks. In warmer weather, use the included insoles to take up the extra space for a perfect fit. Very versatile. I’d give these a higher rating but Amazon only goes to 5 stars.
