Proper football autobiography
This book is good fun if you like football. Lampard gives interesting inside thoughts on West Ham, Chelsea, and England. The only disappointment is that it’s written back in 2006 so it misses a big part of Lampard’s success at Chelsea like 2 Champions League finals and becoming the all-time goalscorer for the club

Concern to Certainty
The book was apparently sent twice before I actually received it. I was very disappointed initially because it was a present for my nephew, but after I contacted the Seller, they were very efficient in sending a replacement. Since it was suppose to be received in Dec. 2013 and I only got it last Friday, I started reading it myself. Let's just say, it would stay in my personal library. The quality was great and I am enjoying the read thus far!

Very long winded
I bought this book with managed expectations from the reviews. But for 1.99 it served as an ok book for the holidays. Lampard for the initial chapters just went on and on abt his strained relationship with west ham, and he felt like doing this and that but there was really no punch really given that he didnt do any of that. I was reading the first 3 chapters and really wondering when the rant will stop.. he just went on and on abt the same thing. The later chapters were really forgettable. I suppose thats his character, rationale and really nothing out of the world. If he waited till the later part of his career that probably will generate more excitement.

As good as the player himself
No wonder Frank has an IQ of over 150. Very well written, not a fan of reading many books but life stories like these always keep me inspired.

It's not just "kicking a ball"
I'm a recent convert to football but I enjoyed every minute of Frank Lampard's book. A good insight into the life of a pro footballer, honestly told and easy to read. Anyone who thinks football is an easy way of making a living may think again. Nice to see Jose Mourinho and Roman Abramovich so well spoken of too.

Absolute Rubbish
Not since the Ryan Giggs autobiography have I been so disappointed in a book. I am sure that Frank has a few better stories up his sleeve than the dreary “I love Chelsea and Roman Ambramovitch” rubbish in this book. Some hours of reading that I will never get back.
