I needed extra padding for my back and seat, the original car seat is uncomfortable,this also sets highers be wary if you are a taller driver. On the down side I have to readjust it quit a bit, as the straps do not hold the cushion very well, that said it seems to help my back, and make my driving smoother with the heavy cushioning,since the car I drive has very little give in the seats. The plus side, it helps my back, the minus side, the cushion might be too stiff for some.

I really wanted these to work for me. However, the seat cushion is really thick and even with the seat in the lowest position, I was near the ceiling of the car. It also was so short for my Subaru seats. Would have liked it 3-4” longer. The back portion was too thick pushing me too far forward from the headrests. I found that it was not tall enough to gently taper into the top of the cars seat. It stopped at an awkward height. The padding was super comfortable, but just didn’t put me in the correct position to drive.

I purchased the Elmara car seat cushion as I suffer from sacroiliac joint pain and sciatica. When riding in the car, within 90 minutes I am in pain and shifting positions to unsuccessfully find relief. I have just returned from a 3500 mile 2-week driving vacation. The Elmara car seat cushion provided the support I needed and I did not experience any back pain the entire trip. The back cushion was comfortable and the seat cushion, while a bit thicker and stiffer than anticipated, softened and molded to my shape. The cushion did not cause any sweat or heat accumulation, despite sitting on it for 6-8 hours a day. I recommend this product if you are looking for back pain relief. Be aware that the pad thickness could be an issue if you are a taller person. I am only 5' 5" and was able to adjust my seat down to accommodate the cushion height.

I drive for work and I drive a 2023 Honda Civic and as much as I love my car, I absolutely hate my seats in my car. My seats are so uncomfortable and I drive for 12 to 14 hours a day I basically live in my car for as much as I drive. I have been searching and searching for cushions for my car and I have been reading up on reviews and so these had the best reviews and I finally broke down and bought them and I have not been disappointed. These cushions sit about an inch and a half thick and are memory foam , and they have helped alleviate a lot of the pain that I have felt in my back and tailbone from sitting for so long throughout the day. I do like that the cover is removable and you can wash the cover. They were a little pricey, but I don’t mind because of the quality of the cushions . It is safe to say that it was worth the money. If you have any type of back pain or pain in the tailbone area, I do highly recommend these cushions as they have helped me with a lot of that pain. Because they are almost 2 inches thick. I did have to lower my seat but I’m only 5ft tall so that’s not a big deal. I would buy these again.

I own a 2002 Lesabre with 260k miles on it. Previous owner had to be large because the driver seat is SHOT. The back pad made the backrest on my seat so much better. I went from wanting to scrap the car to being able to tolerate it. 100% would recommend.

I ordered this car seat cushion as I wanted something that could help me with my back pain when driving for long hours. The cushions were really easy to install and gave comfort and also elevated my position, which was both very helpful. As I suffer from back pain, I was interested to try out this ca- seat and back-rest combination. The first impression was that the cushions are made from foam material which is quite firm and not at all soft, as I had expected. The firmness is actually beneficial, since it supports the back in an upright position which is better for it, much better than curving, as would be the case for much softer foam. The real test, of course, is did I experience any pain? After a long 50 mile drive as a test…. the answer is no, not at all, nothing… which is great. The cushions have elasticated straps with quick release fasteners. They wrap around the car seat firmly. It is quick and easy to fit them, and they do not move afterwards. The seat cushion raises you, the driver, up a few inches higher than your ordinary position, so you may have to adjust the seat mechanism down a little to compensate. However, I preferred the slightly higher viewpoint of the road and other vehicles and felt safer, so I did not adjust the seat height downwards. Not necessary. The foam used is said to be ‘memory foam’ by the manufacturer, well it does move a little under the weight of the body, but not excessively. The shape of the cushion and back rest are definitely ergometric and fit the body perfectly, so there was not much call for memory. Cushions made of memory foam, which return to their original shape and dimensions, while taking your own shape and dimensions into consideration, sounds excellent? The only trouble is that all this is slightly wishful thinking…. it simply does not happen with these particular cushion-back-rest combo. It works to some extent, but because the foam is quite firm you may not overtly detect it. The material used, the cloth covering etc, are good quality and should last for several years. The stitching is very good. Personally, I find the fawn colour slightly too prominent, and would have preferred a darker colour which would not show dirt and age so readily. Nevertheless, that is a small quibble, and as the upholstery of my car is dark, almost black, I don’t mind the two-tone effect the fawn cushions create. I am very happy with these cushions. they are a great improvement on what I had before.
