Very useful
These are super useful. They work really well as a jar opener; I’ve tried other types over the years, but always come back to these as my favorite. I also find them handy for a variety of other things. I place a couple of them under a cutting board to keep it from slipping around. I place several under my dehydrator when using it because it slides easily if you bump it and we use it on a small folding table in the kitchen where it is easy to bump into. With these under the dehydrator it doesn’t slide around at all. I also use it on top of the weighing area when I’m weighing pieces of dough to make rolls, etc. That way the dough doesn’t get the scale greasy. They are really sticky, which is why they grip so well, but it does mean stuff likes to stick to them. It’s not a big deal; I just lightly rinse it before I use it to make sure it is fuzz free and I dry it with a sponge cloth, so it doesn’t pick up lint from a towel. Some reviewers complained about them being slippery and I have no idea what they’re talking about. These are not slippery at all if they are dry (I’ve never tried them when they are wet, but I imagine they are less grippy). They do come stuck together and you have to carefully peel them apart before you first use them. I’ve used several brands and they are all like that, though some peel apart more easily than others. It’s not a big deal and once they are separated they never stick together like that again. I find these are very helpful for a number of things and would highly recommend them.

These work and don't end up useless after a few uses
I love these, nothing negative to say about them. They work perfectly, sometimes I use two (one to hold the bottle or whatever it is I'm using it to unscrew a top off of and one on the lid/top) because I need a better hold on it if it's slippery, really stuck on there, or the bottle is large. If I use one to open something that was oily or greasy on the outside, a quick wash with a little blue Dawn dish soap to get the residue off and it's back to new. They're handy because they stick on the fridge, cabinet doors, and mirrors (it's kinda fun to just chuck them on haha). I just cleaned those surfaces before putting them there and they don't fall off so they're always right there and handy. I use one in the tray of my car because it's shallow and things like to slide around and out of it. It's kept that from being an irritating little thing and I can use it now. I think remember seeing questions asking if these have latex or not. I can say that no, they do not for a few reasons. If they did, I'd know. I have a severe allergy to latex and have an anaphylactic reaction at even slight contact with it. They don't smell like latex, and they would have broken or become weak using them on oily things (oil breaks latex down). I think they're made out of silicone or they feel like that.

Handy
These work... I agree the old ones years back that had a texture were better, but they certainly do the job of aiding me in opening a tough jar. Unexpectedly, I enjoy that these sticks to appliances, I can keep the black one on my black fridge and it’s barely noticeable (remaining handy!). So many in the pack, I’ve handed some out to friends and family. I’ve only had a few days so I cannot comment on durability but they don’t seem like they would tear easily.

Many Other Uses
We use these openers for several other things including drain covers in the shower, under items as jars and bottles (glass to glass contact) in the fridge, to keep items from sliding on our marble counter tops, great under the soap container at the kitchen sink. Very durable ,slim, light weight and easy to clean. Good deal.

Chuangdi 8 Pc Rubber Gripper Pads
These gripper pads are very nice! They are as pictured, a very nice size, pretty variety of colors, and they work amazingly well. I have ordered multiple sets and will order more when needed. I do recommend these for opening jars, and slippery objects...they do work! Side note some may have been damaged but nothing Amazon was not willing to rectify. Overall they are very very nice and I would definitely recommend this set!

Not what I expected but they work
I expected thin textured rubber discs like the ones you get from your plumber, fire department or other local business. These discs are shiny and stuck together so hard my son had to separate them for me. They are sticky and have already picked up hair in my kitchen. They work on jars but I don't like them.

WOW These are great!
I was skeptical at first because the texture is very smooth versus the ones I have used in the past that had a rough texture. The smoothness has a sticky-like coating that sticks to the lids to give you an even better grip than before. They also feel very durable and imagine they would last a long time. Great product and Great price!

They stick together and they don't grip properly plus they're quite small.

Can never have too many easy off lid pads I say. A product that does it job for a reasonable outlay.
