Great Reel Quality for the Price!
This reel far exceeded my expectations! I took it completely apart and added Shimano "MO GREASE". I also noticed the quality of the parts and the drag system! Metal body, nice bearing system, Super smooth and quiet. A lot of reel for the money! The ONLY thing that could have been better is the round plastic power knob on the handle. But, then again, that would probably spike the price with minimal gain. Again, great reel for the money!

I think this reel is perfect for freshwater and saltwater
as a angler who does every fishing out there fly, freshwater, and saltwater. I think this reel is perfect for freshwater and saltwater. This reel is smooth and amazingly tough. Rarely, you find quality reels at this price range. Not just its quality is good but its outside patterns, its really cool ball on the reel just these little things make these reels look and make fishing fun and catch more fish. I would recommend this reel to beginners and experienced anglers. i think this is a new reel on the market and this reel will go extremely far from its quality. If you want to enjoy fishing in a new way, try this reel!

Surprising value. Smooth.
Got the 2000. Expected it to be smaller. Quality for the price is impressive. I will keep it and use on one of my larger bass rods. Was hoping for an ultra light reel for my trout rod.

Those little lures sold me and looked like well made.
Was a gift. He liked it and lures that came with it. Not sure what he used for bait,but caught fish

Check these things befor fishing with it.
The reel is very smooth and line release is good. The spool assembly came loose while fishing and I had to take it apart and tighten the nut on the spool shaft. Also the screw that holds the knob of the reel on came loose and that had to be tightened.

great Customer service, Good product
had an issue with handle on reel....They were very quick to replace handle, and were great to deal with....Excellent Product for the price...would recommend to anyone as an alternative to "High" priced competitors!

maybe bailing out
mostly the reel appears very smooth , but until it is used to fish with I cannot be sure . There is a minor problem with the bail not always closing properly , depending on where it is as it turns on reel .
