From day one, it impressed with its elegant high-arch design and silky-smooth performance. The pull-down spray head glides effortlessly thanks to Kohler’s ProMotion braided hose system—it never snags or feels stiff. The DockNetik magnetic docking keeps the sprayer snugly in place every time, something cheaper faucets often struggle with. What makes this faucet worth its price is how thoughtfully it’s engineered. The three spray settings—stream, sweep, and boost—cover everything from rinsing vegetables to blasting away sticky residue. The sweep spray is particularly handy; it creates a fan-shaped blade of water that actually pushes food particles toward the drain instead of splashing everywhere. Installation was straightforward, even for a single person. The included supply lines and optional deck plate made it flexible enough for a single- or three-hole sink. After years of daily use, there’s been no leaking, no loose handle, and the vibrant stainless finish still looks like new with only a quick wipe-down now and then. If there’s a quirk, it’s that the water pressure feels a touch lower than older 2.2 GPM faucets—but the tradeoff is efficiency without sacrificing cleaning power. Bottom line: A beautifully made, reliable faucet that combines form, function, and longevity. The Simplice looks premium, performs flawlessly, and is still one of the smartest kitchen upgrades I’ve made.

Decent product, a lot of ways to use the faucet, both in spray, then steady stream, both light, then heavy, therefore great water pressure when required. Was easy to install, the price was good for value and the colour matched the description. Feel is good. Faucet tends to drip for some 5+ seconds after water has been shut off, otherwise a good purchase.

First, this Kohler faucet looks and feels superb. I love the matte black. The weighty feel and high-quality lever and buttons tell you in an instant that this is a serious, high quality product. I checked out many brands and am coming up from a six-year-old Home Depot Vigo faucet. The water flow is great. The boost helps a bit, but I'm most pleased that the flow is powerful and the sprayer is STRONG. Some complain it splashes. Fine, it may - but the powerful jets are worth it. It sprays in a fan pattern which I like. The spray cleans off food and residue with aplomb. I was very worried about pressure and this unit doesn't disappoint. There is an option for higher-flow (Kohler 1167290 Replacement Part) that I have ordered) which allows up to 2.2GPM over the standard 1.8GPM. I'm not complaining about the flow but I can never have enough...and this is one of the only ones I found with this available less-restrictive aerator (which only costs a few dollars). The button from standard flow to sprayer locks, unlike most which revert to standard flow when water is turned off. Fine by me. The pull-down sprayer head is the best: It's not an especially LONG pull-out - but I don't care. It sits securely and snugly with a magnet to really hold it in place. I like this because it doesn't LOOK like a pull-down; it looks solid. If you need a really long pull-out sprayer maybe this isn't the one - but it's perfect for me in a standard double sink. The unit swivels smoothly yet stays in place. I can't stress enough how well constructed it feels - and the (limited) lifetime warranty makes me very comfortable. I called and spoke with Kohler with many questions - and this unit met all my needs. The CS person was very helpful and really gave me confidence in the purchase. On thing I didn't know was the escutcheon (base plate) is primarily for aesthetics. I installed mine which looks great, but Kohler said it really doesn't help stability. I beg to differ, as the plate adds extra height and width. No matter, it feels and looks right on my otherwise basic aluminum sink. I would buy again and have no issues except one - which goes with most new faucets I've looked at: There is no visible indicator on the faucet handle of hot or cold (such as a red or blue dot). Would it be that hard for Kohler and others to make this standard? Since you can mount the handle in different directions it would help. Further, for those of us who have different faucets in different kitchens and houses with different people using them, it would be one less thing to think about when needing hot or cold. It's a minor quibble but not unlike indicating which side of your car the gas tank is on. Since the unit is black it may be tougher for me to "add something" like I did on my last chrome faucet (I used a permanent marker to place red and blue dots identifying temperature direction). Finally, the handle itself only moves left/right about 40 degrees - not 90 like some other units. I don't care - the handle feels great the the temp variation is well controlled. Buy with no fear or regret. If I run into any issues I'll post it here as an update!

We chose this model due to the design and functions it offered as well as the price and the Kohler reputation. We bought this to replace the crappy Delta Allora pull down model we had which cost $350 and lasted only 2 years before the magnet broke. They updated the model and the parts would not fit the old model. This was easy to install and seems to work very well. That faucet retracts quickly and securely into the magnetic holster. The sweep spray feature is very nice, but I wish it also had the regular spray. The pause feature is nice. There is a bit of splashing with this faucet and I don't know if there is an adjustment that allows you do pull the faucet down into the sink and let it hang without retracting so you can wash and rinse without holding it. You just have to train yourself to turn the faucet on low at first. The only thing is that it seems the faucet drips if you turn it off in the "sweep" setting. Once I set it to the regular stream setting the dripping stops. I think the price is a good value for a faucet of this type. I did not want a touchless because that's just one more thing to replace batteries in and I just don't think the extra cost is worth it. So I give this product 5 stars based on appearance, ease of installation, function and cost. Cheers everyone! 6/7/2022 Update: solution to low water flow-clean the screen. It takes a bit of effort for remove the part but it fixed the problem. I had ordered a new nozzle but was very disappointed that Kohler discontinued the pause feature and replaced it with a "burst" feature which is completely useless since it already has good pressure. The pause feature was great for filling containers and pots.

I bought this to replace an American Standard faucet that had extremely low pressure. I was a bit worried about the GPM on this, but it can be difficult to find faucets that put out over 2 gallons per minute. The installation was moderately easy. You can check the instructions online, the only difficult part for me was getting under the sink cabinet and trying to work in the small space, actually hooking up the new faucet was easy. I was really impressed with the performance after the install. I thought that the spray sweep function was going to be marketing BS, but it turned to to actually perform as shown, it is easily my favorite feature on the thing. The faucet really puts out a powerful stream. Even the normal mode has much improved water flow from my previous faucet. The button on the side to increase flow even more is especially helpful. I really like that the head swivels 360 degrees, it makes it really easy to use the nozzle. The magnetic docking is cool as well, it helps keep things looking tidy. Others have questioned the longevity of the faucet, and I can't yet comment on that as I have only had it a few months, but from a pure performance standpoint I am very happy. At this point if I am going to replace something in my house my first look is always to Kohler. I have owned a bunch of their products and they always seem well thought out and executed.

I was disgusted with faucets for a while and did not want to write a review, but now feel compelled to do so. I purchased installed this faucet (on Amazon) after trying a 'Kohler' counter intuitive nightmare. This one, at least, makes sense as to which way to turn the valve lever for hot, cold, off and on. Very nice! When I got it, I was not thrilled with the high-arc that turned out not to be so high - oh yeah, the arc itself is high, but then it turns down farther than it needs to making it less functional (to me). I need that high arc to get big pots and pans under it. So. Figuring I was going to keep this one as I like the form AND the function, I took it out in the metal shop and cut off 1 1/2" of the gooseneck, allowing the biggest pot I have to glide under it. I almost screwed it up! A little more off of it and when you turn on the water, it would squirt OUT of the sink!! But all is well. Most happy with it now that it IS a high arc water stream. It seems to me to be a solid piece of work, although the under counter assembly makes me a little uneasy as it seems to be somewhat cheaply made. But it hasn't leaked yet and with our water supply being so hard, I would have expected it by now. I would also have expected abrasion on the pull out supply line, but that hasn't happened. I liked the old metal ones, these plastic ones, not so much. But it works, it isn't abraided (I DID, of course, make the cut I made on the faucet arc as smooth as the original.) Pro's: I like the look. I like the function: The handle is intuitive. No guest has burned themselves by trying to figure out which way to turn the faucet for 'hot'! (We have a lot of parties and since the kitchen is huge and part of the 'house' folks want to come in and be part of the 'action' - cooking is fun, but can get frantic and I don't have time to give instructions as to how to use the faucet. The 6 burner 5-Star Range, yes. Not the faucet.) It went in like a dream. Very simple 'idiot proof' installation. I THINK that the lines are color coded so you can't even screw that up (disclaimer: I did put that thing in 3 years ago). Easy to clean the pull out spray - with the included tool it comes apart to get the crud out that builds up in a hard water system like ours. Customer Service: They live up to their warranty. We have water that you have to chew so valves need to be replaced frequently. This one just started leaking when the water was turned on. I called customer service and they are sending me a new one. Very nice job, Kohler! Very rare these days. Con's: Kind of a negative, but more of a style/preference issue: I'm not too keen on the pull out part NOT going back to stream from spray when you turn the water off. I understand some people like that feature, but I was used to another model that did the opposite. After 3 years, I still don't like that it does not return to stream when you turn it off. In fact, I would not have purchased it if I had known that. But here I am 3 years down the road liking this faucet just fine even if I pull out my sailor's language from time to time when I expect a stream and get spray. I was going to give it 4 stars, but I think 5 is more the mark as this is just a small issue.

I bought and installed this in November of 2021 and it lasted until January of 2026. Not even a full 5 years and its junk. The valve body assembly that seats up against the cartridge started leaking where the hoses connect to it on the underside. It's not repairable because even if I could somehow figure out how to get it out of there, the part to replace it isn't available for purchase. Kohler didn't even give it a part number to begin with. It seems that the revision codes AA to HC have copper lines that come down out from the body. I can only assumed this is better than the JC and newer version I got. Making the valve body out of plastic was just a crappy idea. Especially without offering a replacement part. Older versions of Kohler's I found online seem to have a brass valve body, which would be much more durable. That being said, I liked the faucet when it worked. The sprayer was a little finicky as it wasn't very smooth going in and out of the neck of the faucet, and the "Extra Flow" button seized up and stopped working over time, but still not a big deal. I will say if you have mineral-rich well water yours will probably start clogging up like mine did as well. It had a restriction on the hot side of the valve body I think, and I was never able to figure out how to flush it out before this unrepairable leak issue popped up. I won't say Kohler's are junk, because I don't think that, but this design sucks.

I have had the Kohler kitchen faucit for about one month. I have have it installed in home build in 1995 in California and replaces a Price Pfister G133-100 which had previously been replaced. So I assume lifetime of these type of kitchen faucets is on the order of about 7-8 years. So I can't speak to the reliability of the Kohler that was installed in my kitchen. I actually wanted a Moen for about 2X the price but I was concerned that the 1.5" Moen diameter vs 1 3/8 for Kohler requirement would not work out for my 19 year old sink, But it would have worked just fine as the plumber asserted. In any case, I am quite happy with the looks and operation of the Kohler faucet. The water flow is a little reduced from the Price Pfister but I am fine with that. Also, the plaster is not excessive as the hight the water emits from the nozzle is higher from the older style kitchen faucets in the mid nineties. The nozzle is indeed plastic as others have pointed out but it is not easy to tell visually. I can't speak to the reliability of the faucet as one month is too short to make an assessment. The nozzle retracts nicely into its original position without being magnetic as some competing solutions seems to suggest. Also, there are two spray settings: the usual center spray which acts like a normal faucet and a broader spray. Once you select the spray mode the faucet will stay on that spray mode until you select the rocker switch to turn it the other. Even if you turn off the faucet the spray mode stays the same. Also, I am not using the stainless baseplate which came with the faucet as I decided to cover up the two holes with hole covers. So the installation is essentially single hole. Also, the faucet has no angular stop which means you can turn the faucet 360 degrees or 720 degrees + more in principle, although you will twist the rubber hose underneath the sink. Not a problem for me.
