Rubie's Costume Co. Men's V Superman: Dawn of Justice Batman Mask

I can't fault this product, my head is ridiculously small and probably should have opted to try the children's size instead. This mask is really huge and I had to pad the heck out of it to get it to stay still but I get a fat head look because there so much room. My head doesnt even reach the top. But even so, I'll probably keep it just for display because after reshaping it, it looks really nice on one of my foam heads. Lomg story short, if you have a nice big head that can accommodate the space this is for you. If you have a tiny head like me be ready with either foam padding or try the kids size.

I bought this for a low effort costume idea to have on hand whenever I want to pretend to be having fun while locked in my house during the pandemic...or for parties, whenever those are a thing again.It's slightly big on me and may need a little shaping with heat or padding so it doesn't keep pressing into my eyes. Looks pretty decent. It will do the job and meets expectations nicely except for one thing:I really hate the velcro closure on the back! I have long hair and the hooks on one side of the mask catch it and don't really let go, so every time I take it off, I have to spend a few minutes trying to figure out how to untangle my hair from the loops (tying it back made this even worse). I'll probably end up wearing a balaclava under it or cutting off the velcro and adding a different kind of closure that isn't going to pull out or rip all my hair. This might not matter to you if you have shorter hair or are already bald, but I feel it should be mentioned.

It was a fun mask to use on Halloween. It fit surprisingly well and after you get use to it, you forget it is on. It got initially very sweaty, and can stay that way, but I did find once my tolerance was up (and cooler temperatures where I live) I hardly felt burdened by the mask. It was cheap too. I did rip it after Halloween, after multiple uses, but that happens. Overall, and for the price, this product works for its purpose.

Only real complaint is as other's said the eye holes need to be trimmed to not feel like it's crowding your eyes. I plan on getting some goggles to go over it for lenses anyway so the trimming I've done is acceptable. Also seems one eye is cut bigger than the other.

It’s perfect for the price... just in case if anyone is wondering my head is 22inches and the mask is kinda big but all I did to fix that problem was add padding to the inside to make that super snug fit and after that it fit perfectly (also used a blow dryer on the hottest setting to get out some of the wrinkles and shaped it back to its original form)... definitely recommend this for someone looking for a Batman Cowl for an amazing price and that’s coming from someone who owns and makes a lot of masks, helmets, cowls, and costumes 😂😂😂

You really get what you paid for here. It's not exactly movie-quality, but it's definitely better than anything you'll find on the shelf of your local toy store or shopping center.The cowl I received had been creased a fair amount, likely due to handling conditions, which isn't a manufacturing problem and can be remedied at home if you know what you're doing. To my surprise, it was a little bit bigger than I expected; I have a fairly large head, and thick hair, so it's quite rare that headgear ever fits loosely on me. Fortunately, if handled with care, it won't take too much doing to tighten the fit to your specific measurements.The cowl does completely cover your head, which is a big plus, but it doesn't go very far down the neck, meaning that unless you're also wearing something to cover your neck (like a top with a high collar or a scarf), there will likely be some unsightly neck exposure. My biggest complaint, though, is with the ears. Even if you take the time to work out all the unwanted creases in your product, the shape in which the bat-ears of this cowl are molded is best described as "loose". The ears curve too smoothly into the head, making them look less like pointy ears and more like awkward corners. But if you know a thing or two about costume production, it may very well be possible to better shape this molding for a more refined and appealing look.If you purchase this cowl, don't expect to receive a film-quality replica of the cowl Ben Affleck wears as his version of the Batman. This product is certainly not without flaws; the abrupt cutoff of the neckline and lack of definition in the ears keep this product from being the best it can be. But even with those issues considered, this cowl is certainly at a higher level of quality than anything you're likely to find in stores. If you have the know-how and dedication to refurbish it to your needs, this cowl is definitely worth a look for your costume, be it for a fan-project, a cosplay for a conversation, or just for fun. Definitely worth the price I paid for it.

Amazing look to it but as someone else stated the eye sockets have some kind of inner ridge that makes it almost impossible to wear and open your eyes! A Real issue with only one resolution trimming that extra rubber out because you Really can't open your eyes when you pull the mask down.

I ordered this mask because I like the look of the new Batman cowl. It looks great, save for a few creases. When putting it on, the neck part is a little tight getting past, but then once it's on your head, it's somewhat large. I had to stuff a sock behind my head so that the mask would fit snugly. It's held together with stitched velcro, so creative people migtht be able to customize their fit perfectly. All in all, I'm satisfied with the mask and the purchase.

Very disappointed, absolutely nothing like the photo, mask is crumbled together and is an absolute waste. Such a shame. Dont recommend

Really happy with this cowl. Little on the large side but fitted great after a little padding was added.

The batman cowl did not live up to expections. First of all it wasn't totally symmetrical around the eyes (one eye was lower than the other) and the overall fit was poor (not at all as shown in the picture). Also, it was very shrinkled when delivered. Overall a big disappointment.

mask is rather large, but can be fixed by wearing a beanie underneath. eye holes are snug but not painful
