Unless water boils at 90 degrees C or 200 degrees F, this thermoter is way off. And, it takes several minutes to count up to tempature. Perhaps all digital themometers are all this way.The dial is nice and big and the buttons are easy to work, but it sure doesn't work.I don't understand how anyone could give this thermometer a good rating. Perhaps they are wondering why everything is overcooked.

Great thermometer. We like the wide range of temperatures(-58 - 572 degrees). This thermometer has a large readout for my poor eyesight. This is sturdy with a heavy duty cover for the probe. This cover has two clips for the chefs shirt pocket and for a pan. It is water proof and can measure both F and C. It has a neat feature of turning off by itself when not in use. It has an easy to read On/Off button, hold button, and F C button. Highly recommended.

I think the thermometer was a great buy. I’ve checked its calibration and used it a few times and it has performed admirably. Have only used this a couple of times. Today when I took it from the protector the probe sensor came apart. Cheaply made. Would not recommend at all.

Got the first one, didn't work. Friendly folks at Chef Amori sent me a new one, and it is as accurate as Hell. I know, because I've raised a little of it in my lifetime. Completely satisfied with both the product and the service.
