Ray of Hope Mass Market Paperback – May 6, 2014

Just started reading this book, but I love it already and have to force myself to go to sleep & avoid turning pages when I'm sleepy. This author's books have not disappointed me yet. I have read over 6 books from this author, one being a book series.

Expertly told. I loved the retelling of the bible story in modern day. I loved how Ma Ray went into prayer over everything and sought to understand today's youth and their language. Every child needs a Ma Ray in his/her life. Great read.

This book is about Ma Ray who takes her two teenager granddaughter's for summer. The girls are a piece of work and are a bit out of control, so their mom send them to the good old country with Ma Ray. Ma Ray is 75 years old, but don't let anything get past her. Her granddaughter thinks that she can out smart Ma Ray, but she is always a step ahead of her. Ma Ray is a good christain woman who truly knows the Lord and calls on HIM.......

Very uplifting allowing the reader to see it's all about jesus prayer and that we will get through. Her books always help me to keep on keeping on. I am also an expiring writer . I love her work

I fell in love with this author's writing a few years ago and I have been waiting to read something from the author for a while and I am so glad I finally got back to her books. This is such an awesome read and one I could definitely read again! Its a full length book with the story line being well developed #

I gave this book a five star because it had me from the beginning to the end. My favorite part was when Junebug asked Ma Ray can he take Sahara to Bible Study. I am hoping to read more about this family. I would love to see what happen to the four teenagers. If you have not read this book, then you need to and you will not be disappointed.

I have enjoyed all of Vanessa Davis Gregg's books they are on point with real life situations and the scriptures before each chapter makes it all so real. This author is truly a blessing I would encourage her to continue to write wonderful books /series. Lovely book that is centered on letting us know that when God gives second chances he gives them to everyone. I suggest sharing this book with everyone especially props between age 13 -21. Great read :)

It is a good book to read, you shlould share with family & friends. One will enjoy reading this book. it also worth the money too.
