I was skeptical at first, I had some really bad bruises on both arms. I didn't apply ice or anything in the first 48 hours. After one hot bath and using this gel for less then a week, all my bruises were GONE. I am very fair skinned and couldn't believe it. I applied 3 to 4 times a day and gel dries very quickly. It also worked on my daughters face after she was scratched badly by a dog within 3 days. Amazing!

I wish I had taken pictures. My dog bit down on my hand, apparently just over a vein. The bruise spread quickly over the next couple of hours, and I’d forgotten to ice it. It was DARK purple red. I put this on, and overnight, the color was halved. Same with the next night.This is epic. I have several bruise remedies b/c my dog has a habit of nibbling my arm and hands. It’s freaking annoying, and always results in a bruise. Lots of stuff has worked before - over weeks. Not DAYS. This is insane.Please note, about 10 minutes after application, there will be an intense burning. For about 45 minutes. I have a high tolerance for pain, and I did notice it. I had been using this to deal w/existing bruises, but can I say - this actually STOPS pain about 30 seconds after rubbing it in! Literally sigh of relief right now from banging my wrist bone on something just now - right over a vein (I’ve got a talent for that one), and the tear-inducing pain is actually gone! Yesterday’s encounter with my dog’s teeth - a mark, but no bruise, for a change! If you are accident prone like me, keep this stuff nearby, always.

Help with the pain and the swelling but doesn't convert the bruising all the way just lightens it up so it's not too dark

I bought this hoping it would help fade a bruise I got from hitting my leg on the corner of my bed frame and not only did it work but it started healing in a day or two after reapplying it several times a day as directed and is literally nearly gone in a week. It does burn when you first put it on but the burning subsides in seconds and then it’s soothing. It may take longer on other body parts or however deep the bruise may be everyone heals differently but it absolutely does work. Don’t expect a bruise to disappear after one use. Have patience and reapply as directed and you’ll see results. Follow the directions!! It’s worth every dime and I highly recommend this product.

Arnica Bruise Gel is more affordable than other products. It is moderately effective.

This gel seems to be effective—using it and a cream for bruising mainly on my arms—very thin skin—only downside is that it runs pretty freely so you have to be careful when you squeeze it out. Dries pretty quickly and doesn’t feel too tacky when dry…no skin irritation from using it. On second tube

I am about to re-order this product, so it obviously has worked for me. :) A few months ago, I broke my upper humerus in three places. The bones have healed, but the rehab to get my arm and shoulder moving again will be going on for several more months. So I haven't really used the product for bruising (although I do think it helped with that and with swelling), but for pain.All by itself, the gel helps with pain. On not so bad days it eliminates it completely, on worse pain days, it just helps. But some is better than none, in my book. If it takes the edge off, that's a good thing.One thing that I really like about this gel is that is is a fantastic base for essential oils. So if you use essential oils for pain, you can mix a few drops of your essential oil into a teaspoon or so of gel (depending on how large an area you want to treat), rub into the area of pain, and it starts helping almost immediately. The essential oil that is working best for me right now is kunzea. On a bad pain day, I use the arnica gel with the kunzea, and I get anywhere from 80% to 100% relief.The gel gets hot, so don't use it on sensitive skin or with a heating pad.

Works better than the cream.
