A very good product at an affordable price and very easy to fit

Struggled to find a replacement but based on perfect measurements from the seller was able to match the correct item. The tap works better than it has ever done, no more drips and a good solid fit. Please note that they come with a screw in the top, so thought it wasn't going to fit - I just removed it to get a fantastic fit! Many thanks

Firstly I am not a plumber just an average chap that is happy to give basic DIY a go.These are described as replacements for a Franke Ancona tap (which my tap isnt).However because the description included dimensions and spline numbers (the knobbly bit on the top) I was confident that they would work in my mixer tap. As a replacement tap would cost me something north of £150 to replace I figured that for under £15 it was worth a punt on these cartridges.So here is how things wentThey were very easy to install and I was able to do it myself in just a few minutes with a socket wrench.a spanner would have worked too but a ratchet socket wrench is quicker especially if the tap is in an awkward postion to the splash back like mine.They fitted snuggly as they were screwed into the tap which was reassuring.Yes they work perfectly now so my mixer tap is no longer leaking which confirmed my suspision that the both existing cartridges had worn and there was nothing else wrong with the tap.They are very good value for money. I paid just under £12 for the pair of cartridges, which is a good price (most packs cost £15).What didnt i like?Confusingly they came with an allen key as part of the pack which I can only assume is some sales gimmick(giving you something for nothing) because there aren't any allen screws to adjust.Other than that it does the job and is worth the moneyThumbs up from me

This product is exactly what I needed - allowed me to resolve a drip to my expensive Franke Tap myself without needing to call out a plumber.I realise that there are probably not many size quarter turn cartridges and I may have been able to save a bit by going to Screwfix but I would have needed to know the size.Having all of that taken care of me meant that the cartridges were a perfect fit and therefore excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend giving this a go yourself.The manufacturer even has a YouTube channel where they explain how to fit them. Perfect!I’ll leave the plumber to do the big boy stuff!

Did what I wanted and stopped an irritating drip on the hot tap.straightforward to fit (the allen key to remove the handle was a bit fiddly, but patience is key).I now have a spare for when the cold tap starts to drip.

Good value and installed easily to fix leaking tap.

These cartridges are not available from Toolstation, Screwfix, Wickes or B&Q as they are a less common fitting. To be honest it's unusual to have this type of cartridge leaking as the ceramic faces last for years. This is only the second time in about 30yrs that I have had to replace one and it's the cold tap side. I can only assume it's due to the higher pressure and possibly some grit getting between the ceramic faces over time. Only 4 stars - if they can supply an Allan key (that I already had, so that I could remove the old unit to check what needed to be ordered) then they could have supplied the small tap head screws. Otherwise perfect.August 2024 small leak reappearing. It will be an easy fix for me but a major annoyance, so loosing another star.
