Beautiful design and appears to be a good quality. Arrived in a beautiful box with instructions and warranty card. I have a ninja coffee maker and the thin glass carafes kept breaking. I surely won't have the issue with this one.Communication with the company has been fantastic... Thanks so muchWould give it 5.5 stars if I could.Follow the directions on cleaning. This has a real wood handle and submerging it or placing it in the dishwasher could harm the finish on the handle.

I like hot tea, and usually make a small pot in the evening to enjoy while I study. The problem with hot tea is that it seems to get cold super fast, and then it's sort of disappointing. I've tried a lot of different types of pots, but this one keeps tea hot until it's all gone. Not warm, hot. I steep the tea right in the pot. One IMPORTANT NOTE--after you put your hot liquid in this pot, DO NOT tighten the lid down. Just ever-so-gently close it. No force. The heat creates a vacuum if you close it too tight, and when you force it to unscrew you hear a giant pop and your hot liquid may spray out when you do finally get it open. Yes--I speak from experience.

I tried another carafe, a 68 oz size, but it was too large for the amount of coffee I brew every day and after an hour the coffee was getting cool. When I got this 50 oz carafe, I put some hot water into it to warm it up while the coffee was brewing and it really does keep the coffee hot for a couple of hours. I like the size-it's just right for the amount of coffee I make in the morning for my wife and I. It has a larger opening that makes it easy to clean ( my hands are too large but my wife can reach right in and wash it). I like the push button top, it keeps the coffee hot and all you have to do is pop the button down, grab the carafe & pour, and pop the button back up again. Easy. I would buy this again.

This is a fine product. It appears to be well made and is both very functional as well as good looking. I would buy again in a minute. I love the large opening in the top . I allows easy filling with ice cube and the open/close button on the top makes it easy to open and close when pouring. I can't think of anything I don't like about this product!

This carafe keeps coffee hot for at least three hours. I usually drink all the coffee within that time frame, so I'm not sure how long the coffee will stay hot. The size, 50 ounces, is a comfortable size. It's not too heavy or cumbersome to pour a cup of coffee. This is the first carafe I've used that doesn't drip at the spout after pouring. Overall I'm very happy with this product and would consider it a great gift idea.

I've only had this thermos for about two weeks but so far I am very pleased. It is attractive and practical compared to others I've had; because it has a very wide mouth, it's very easy to keep clean. And while I've only used this for hot coffee, it has kept the beverage hot for several hours (the most I tested it was about 3).

I have probably purchased 3 different carafes from Amazon, trying to find the perfect one. This one comes closest to meeting all my needs. It came with a nifty strainer that allows me to steep tea in it. I actually put the tea inside the strainer to steep, and then remove the strainer (and leaves) prior to pouring. Keeps tea hot for hours. No drips and the scandi design looks great.

The human factors engineering that went into this thermos is terrible. To pour the hot contents safely, one must depress a push button in the center of the cap to vent the pressure to equalization, then one must continue to press the button with one hand, while pouring with the other.The volume inside is smaller than one thinks because the lid is huge relative to the size of the thermos can. As to the thermal insulation properties, well heat rises and the plastic cap is not a vacuum proofed stopper. Therefore, one gets a radiation heat leak and the chimney effect. Six hours tops for water heated to 65 degrees centigrade (~149 degrees Fahrenheit). I test against claims and when the claims do not match my repeatable results, then you get a review like this one.
