Flintstones, The: The Complete Series (Repackaged 2018/DVD)“Flintstones, meet the Flintstones, they’re a modern stone-age family.” Thus opens the catchy theme of the primetime series that boldly went where no animated show had gone before, into the record books as the first adult-targeted cartoon and longest-running series of its genre. The family shenanigans of Fred, Wilma, Barney, Betty and their children were fresh and groundbreaking for the day. The notion of a “modern” cave society using dinosaurs, stone and wood in outrageously inventive ways was the gimmick that kept on giving, similar to the appeal of futuristic sci-fi characters casually using high-tech gadgetry to make life simpler. Fortunately, you possess the modern gadget for this historic occasion, as all 166 legendary episodes are available for your viewing pleasure.

RECOMMEND if you're a fan of the series
If you're a fan of the series this is a terrific box set. I got it for 30 bucks, what a steal. You get the complete series as well as TWO full length movies and a ton of bonus features. This is the definitive set for the series. Definitely recommend!

Got Item But Shipped in Bag Not Box, Now Has Bits of Broken Plastic
This is a classic show and worth owning on Blu-Ray. Got it for a sale price for $30. However, item arrived today in a bag. Then the package was rattling.Bits of blue plastic fell out enough that one of the two cases had its hinge compromised and now the multi-disc holder is not suspended by anything.Amazon needs to evaluate the fragility of its products to deem best means to ship with - Be it box or bag.

Show Me A Clearer Picture
The images are so sharp here. Show me a clearer picture. This early to mid 60s cartoon looks and sounds better than ever! Good to see Perry Masonite, Ann Margrock and the other guest stars once again!
