Great product for the avid pool player
I keep one or two of the these in my pool case. This product works great to clean and polish the shaft of your cue stick to keep it smooth. Especially if you don't play with a glove, this product is a must have because the cue shaft can get dirty and greasy.Keeping your cue shaft clean and smooth will help maintain the consistency of your stroke from shot to shot. This has contributed to my continuous improvement and success in pool leagues and tournaments. Considering what this product has contributed to my pool game, it is worth more than the price advertised.I wouldn't have to buy more than one, except for the fact that I keep losing them or people keep taking them. It is durable and lasts for a long time. My first one even survived the washing machine and continued to work well, until someone took it.

A little pricey, but a good product.
I read the other feedback, mine arrived with no loose thread and stitched well. I think it's a bit over priced but hey I still bought two of them. I didn't want anything that would be abrasive and this works as well as I thought it would. Plus, being leather it should last a long time. I have a new cue stick and I've used this every time I finish playing and it does put that silky smooth feel back on the shaft just like it was when it was new. At this time I can't comment on how it works on an older cue stick but the second one I bought is for a friend who has an older cue and we'll see how it does. I will update this after he's tried it.Update: He tried it and it works well on older cues as well.

great for the money but seems to lose it's polishing ...
solid little polisher, here. great for the money but seems to lose it's polishing abilities after a few months or so depending on how much you play, of course. to prevent this and improve life of the piece, switch up which side of it you use every time you use it.

Make ur stick Glide !
When u stroke ur WOODEN POOL CUE (ONLY) it will get really hot , fast, then really smooth, nice touch !

Great Product for a Great Price
Works great to keep the oils off my cues. A nice compact and sleek looking polisher for a great price. I have been using for about a year now without any issues. I would recommend to my friends.

Try the leather side
I purchased this prior to talking with the guy at the shop where I can get equipment at. He handed me a piece of leather and said it works fine for cleaning the shaft. I use the leather side of this and it cleans the shaft fine. It is thicker I have a better grip than just leather the leather piece I was handed. The guy at the shop would have more than willingly sold me one of these. He felt the leather was better for some of his older ( 1890's vintage ques ). He was the guy in the shop that would modify/cut down ques if/when needed also.
