Great cooling and easy install. Worth the price!
Purchased this for a 97’ Cherokee and I can tell a big difference. I use my Jeep for Sunday cruising and off road trails/parks. When the radiator showed up, I was impressed with how it was packaged. You don’t have to worry about it getting shipping damage and it had that high quality detail to it. Installing the radiator was breeze and only took about an hour to complete the swap. The ONLY downside in my eyes was the bottom transmission hook up. On my Jeep I had the factory snap connect on my trans line that goes to the nipple on the radiator. The nipple that comes on this radiator is a touch too big to slide the snap connection to so I had to snip off the snap connect on my factory trans cooler line and use a small hose clamp. No big deal and I don’t believe all Cherokee years are setup like mine. Most videos online show a hose clamp like this radiator is designed for. PERFORMANCE- before I would get to 220 degrees easily on the tight trails and about 200-205 on the road. Now, I run 180-190 on the road with the air turned off and about 200-205 on the trails. The big kicker is if I run the air conditioning (that forces the electric fan to run) I never get hotter than 190.....ever! Huge improvement and great fitment on my XJ.

Amazing product, good fit, nice finish
Outstanding product, I didnt have any of the issues with the hood latch hitting it like some of the others, or the larger ZJ style clutch fan not having enough room. Keeps my 93 at a cool 190, sitting in the florida heat with max ac on. She will get to 210 after a bit, which is still within the happy zone of the 4.0, but immediately drops back down as soon as she gets some RPMs. When the AC is off, the engine hasn't gotten hot enough to turn the electric fan on once yet. 500% improvement over the factory 1 row radiator that seems to like to crack at the side tanks. But seriously, without including a sticker, I feel like I got robbed of 25 extra horsepower hahaha. 1 tidbit of helpful info- when installing the vent tube to the overflow container, use a little teflon tape. Makes it easier to thread in and seals nicely.

PSA read updates Missing pieces/no overflow barb.
The radiator is of the highest quality, the same can NOT be said for their Q.C. as far as packaging goes. There was no coolant overflow barb, and of course they tap the hole in a m8x1 so you can't even go buy one. So now I have no way to work tomorrow because I can't drive it without an overflow. So let this be a lesson, just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's the best. Extremely frustrated.*update* 3/30/21Mishimoto says they'll get me the barb in 4 to 5 days. If I had bought it direct from them they'd get it to me faster. So the undertone, to me was they don't like you buying their stuff on Amazon. I'm sorry I tried to save $50 and guarantee my delivery date. If you're going to treat your Amazon customers this way then why sell on Amazon at all? After buying their radiator and silicone hoses I don't think I'll buy their products again. The quality is great, but what good is a lifetime warranty with a company that has garbage customer service?*Update 4/2/21*Mishimoto says they don't have the barb, as soon as they get it they'll ship me one. I wAs wrong about the metric thread, they assured me it is a 1/16 npt to 1/4 barb. So I found one on Amazon as no local parts store, plumbing supply or hardware store stocks this size. My daily driver has now been down 5 days. I bought the radiator and their silicone hoses. Both of which are very nice but given these issues and their lack of support I definitely would steer clear. Their support team couldn't care less. I'd take one out of a new package and send it. This is no way to treat customers that spend their hard earned money trying to build something and trusting a company. Mistakes happen but it's how you handle it afterwards.

Nice unit and well designed, but some QC improvements need to be made to be 100%.
Mine is in and working well. The radiator seems well made and has nice welds. I had my installation planned for a Saturday morning so I had gathered all my parts, but got stopped short when I discovered the overflow tube was missing from the box. Their support got me one the following week, but it put me way behind in my project. The overflow tube didn't appear to have good threads and knowing it's aluminum I was extra careful to thread it in. But it still stripped so I'd say QC on this part is poor.. I brazed the overflow tube on the neck and it's good to go but a bit of a disappointment in both regards. Other items- mine is fine with the center latch. My upper radiator hose steamed over like old faithfull on a test drive as I couldn't get the stock clamp closer to the radiator. So I used my cutting wheel on the the radiator support to give me more room to move the clamp right against the radiator tank. I do not notice a temperature reduction so I'm still at 210, but this radiator is much nicer and had more coolant capacity than the stock type with the plastic tanks. Hopefully it holds up but being aluminum I'll be able to repair myself if it has issues. I'd still buy it again at this point given the state of the current market.

Excellent Product. Near 30-degreee difference in engine temperature.
Let me preface this by saying that i live in Phoenix, Arizona where the summer temps are regularly around 110-F. This, paired with the notorious problems XJs already experience in the cooling department, was taking a toll. The engine, without the AC on, would regularly run around 230-235-F when the ambient temperature was any higher than 80-F. If the AC was on, it would reach near overheating temperatures. I would often have to turn the AC off, turn the heater on, and let the Jeep cool down. This wasn't working for me as I daily drive the Jeep. I installed the Mishimoto radiator in the Jeep and it has made a massive difference. It is worth every bit of the price tag. My Jeep with the AC on driving 70 mph on the interstate runs right at the operating temperature (210-F) or just below it now. Driving around town the motor is at about 203-F. In the cooler months, I expect to see some excellent results as well.
