Fantastic reproduction for the price

This is NOT a prop replica, but for the reasonable price one would be foolish to expect it to be. This is a softback (not even faux leather) print on 70gsm white paper two inches taller and wider than the props - of all the canonical pages and more. There are NO inserts but, again, for the price you would be greedy to look for them.Images are the most commonly shared fan-created copies (such as the De Borron Knight Pillar drawing and Map To The Hidden Temple) The Map With No Name is not the DVD extras scan but a familiar fan rendering. Text pages are created from one of the best computer fonts on the forums and look very nice indeed. Though there are a few pages from the Computer Game story diary there are other notes and three rare illustrations - a great find for those making their own story diary. This book is a must have for reference for most Grail Diary repro makers. Lovely. **** (Four stars)

not leather bound, not great quality but lots of pics, maps and pages, writing hard to understand and read, for they very committed fan

Amazingly detailed, but difficult to read some of the handwriting.

The reviewer who said it was good value for what it was needs their head examining, they must be working for the company or something, if not I have a great investment you may be interested in.........., this is a total rip off and is garbage, it's cheap rubbish, cheap cardboard cover, don't bother, save yourself some money and just flush £5 down the toilet instead!

Would not buy if seen beforehand

Buy two of these! Glue them together. You'll only be 2 pages short of the exact number of pages from the original grail diary. Next cut them down using a mitre saw. Go slow and put a weight on top so the pages don't get ruined. You'll lose a little bit of information on a few pages when cutting down. Not a big deal. The grail diary is supposed to measure 6 1/2 by 4 1/4 roughly. I made mine a hair bigger. After gluing and cutting i colored a few pages here and there. If you go to zenseeker.com they have a ton of information and pictures on what needs colored and what not.. i then aged the pages using brewed coffee in a spray bottle. Spary and pat dry. Dry it out in front of a fan. I got some faux leather at hobby lobby that ironically looks like Indys jacket to wrap it in. I bought an elastic strap from Walmart for like $1.09. 1/4" strap is what I used. I cut two slots in the back of the faux leather to run the strap through and underneath before gluing it to the book. If you go online and research the grail diary you'll find a ton of pictures you can copy and print to add for inserts. I started by buying an insert pack off of etsy. It was ok, but I wanted more authentic movie grail diary inserts. Copying them off the internet is the easy and cheapest way. Most the pages in this book are exactly what was used in the movie. The original grail diary had repeating pages to add thickness to it. I believe some pages even repeated 3 or 4 times. So gluing two of these together just makes it more accurate. I used a 3m 90 spray glue to adhere the faux leather. As you can see by my pictures these turned out amazing and cost well under $100. So I like i said buy two of these and get to work. Its a ton of fun making you're own grail diary instead of spending hundreds of dollars on one somebody made for you.

As others have written and stated in the description, the cover is normal paper, but the print quality is excellent and the content is all there. I wish Amazon would produce a leather version of this and maybe add the inserts that are missing, but this is the next best thing compared to all the scams out there.
