Works well, but I had to manually calibrate it for better accuracy
Works well, but out of the box it was NOT very accurate. Luckily it's not too difficult to calibrate to improve accuracy. Before calibration, if I slowly rotate it in the barrel, the red dot would follow a rather large oval shape. From only ten yards away the position of the dot moved around by about 2 inches. After calibration, the dot moved around by less than a quarter of an inch. The front of the tool has four screws which you can slowly and gently adjust. I tightened the barrel of an old airsoft gun into my drill and secured the drill very well with weights and clamps so that it won't move at all. Then placed the bore sighter inside the secured barrel and pointed it to a sticky note on the wall about 10 yards away. You can now gently rotate the bores sighter inside the secured barrel. Rotate the bore sighter so that one screw is at the top, then place a mark on the sticky note where the dot shines. Now rotate it a quarter for the next screw to be at the top and place another dot on the sticky note. Do this for all four screws. This gives you the four uncalibrated positions, but you can kind of see the center of those four points. Then just take your time to adjust each screw a little by little to make those dots get closer and closer. If the dot is too high, higher than the center of those points, then loosen the bottom screw a little and tighter the top one a little, etc. It took about an hour, but I'm now very happy with the tool.

This worked great
This worked perfect and got them sighted in almost perfect. Note: step 1 should be verify with a known sighted in rifle. they come pre-set but youll have to turn it in the bore untill the laser is at its lowest point. If not, adjust it to the sighted rifle than its ready to go. Great product. Simple to use

Great for Long Barrels; Doesn't work with Short 3" Barrels
This is a great design at a great price. Rechargeable 14250 lithium battery. A dedicated charger for that battery. Wonderful. No need to buy tiny button cells to power this device.Nicely manufactured. Good adapters that won't wear out. Nice design. However, the long nose of the device is suitable for 4" or 5" barrels or longer, not short 3" barrels. The device features a long "nose" that you attach plastic adapters to that fill out to fit the barrel snugly.A 3" barrel means the adapter that fits that barrel (say, 9mm) will extend into the chamber, and not be coaxial, defeating any possibility of accurate sighting. Now, for longer guns -- 5" pistols, shotguns and rifles, this device will work very well. It simply cannot work on short barrels. Then again, there are many adapters and machine screws supplied. I have no idea how they are to work. The instructions are sketchy. The set comes with eight longish machine screws that attach adapters to the "nose" of the boresight. It also comes with an Allen wrench. But the instructions don't tell me what the Allen wrench is for. There are three Allen head setscrews near the front of the device. Perhaps the Allen wrench can fine-tune the laser's angle and precision.I'll continue working with it. I'm happy to have it. I have a much more expensive device that uses inferior batteries and silly O-rings to get it to fit the bore. This device is much superior to O-rings. For rifles, and longer barrel pistols, this will work well.

Red dot not centered with body of tube.
The red dot is not centered with the body or tip that fits in the barrel of the gun. It is way off. No matter what tip or gun I tried the red dot moves around if you turn the device. That means the internal laser is not centered with the device body that fits into the gun barrel or it is at an angle. Dot changes location by roughly 4 inches at twenty feet. That means at 20 yards it would be even further off. Dot is not concentric with the body or tip or red dot is at an angle. This is a manufacturing issue. I have purchased another brand that does not have this issue at all and the dot is concentric because it stays stable no matter how I turn it in the barrel. This one is worthless so I am returning.

First impression (will finish later)
Preliminary Review (will add more later):Shipping: Was slow. I am prime member and product didn't ship until after the date I should have received it. Once it was shipped it did get here quickly.Boxing: The outside of the box was fine, the inside was kinda messed up and foam was all waked out. But product seemed undamaged.Product itself: Everything was present. The instructions were obviously from a different model but since I have used many of these I knew what I was doing so was a none issue for me but may be a problem for a first timer. Product states it is compatible with 50 caliber but it is not! The first rifle I went to use it on was my 50 caliber muzzle loader and not one attachment was correct. Then went to my .308 and it worked fine on it. Also fine on my 556. This was the first one of these I ever got with a green laser and I'm now a believer! The dot can easily be seen over 300 yards down range even in fairly bright conditions. I personally would not use a laser to sight that distance, but I'm sure someone might.Accuracy: This is what I'll add too in a few days after I get to the range and see how close it is.

Works well
Definitely worth the money. You have to be patient setting it up in your barrel using the adjustment screws to center the laser. Use it in close quarters so the dot isn’t too big and adjust your sight accordingly. This will definitely get you on paper if used correctly.

Not accurate and hard to set up
Having issue with placing in barrel on a .22Laser threw my new scope way off, i mean by feet at about 25 yards. Still trying to correct it.Should at very least bring you in close bwfore tweaking. Made the mistake of setting my scope and laser based on this beforw test shots with factory settings and meesed my equipment up good.Laser is not to bright, instructions not very clear.Price is medium and seen perhaps better out there. Will not work for what i needed it for and will return

Not for .17 cal
If it won't fit in a .17 cal barrel it's f----ng useless, not as advertised. Aren't you fortunate I have skills that you don't? now is useable. no thanks to poor quality manufacturing.
