Safer than other mandolines and easy to clean
Easy to clean and safer than my original mandoline. I like the finger guard and the cover that pushes the food down while shredding. Blades are very sharp. Nice packaging to store the unit and a plastic box to hold the extra blades.

great invention
WOW. This thing is amazing. I grated cheese, lettuce even tomatoes. This works great. The only down fall is when you slice somethign. They are very thin.Would be great for making potatoe chips. still love it.

Handy way to shred different kinds of foods with a good sized cutting surface
Great way to shred vegetables or cheese. Although soft cheese is a little more difficult as it seems to stick to the blades more than other kinds of food. Easy to take apart and clean and a great assortment of cutting blades.
