I bought these socks for my daughter to wear to secondary school, as long black socks are required as part of the school uniform. These were a perfect choice as they are just the right thickness, for both winter and summer months. I have bought these before and they have lasted two years before I needed to buy more, as my daughter has lost a few in her PE bag. Although the ones we still have are still being worn and we are now onto year three. They’re easy to wash and keep their shape. My daughter says they are very comfortable and she likes these ones best. I think they’re excellent value for money and highly recommend.

Great long quality socks that are comfortable. They keep my feet warm in this cold weather and are good value for money too.

The socks are perfectly fine but the just about get to my daughters knees, I almost feel they will shrink a little with general washes and start to become a little too small. It might be worth adding my daughter is tall and her calves are not skinny. This might explain the reason. She's happy with them otherwise.

These were much better quality than expected, a colour that will go with most others, a nice comfortable fit and neither too thin nor too thick.They are the length they are supposed to be, too, which is not always the case, and would look as good as opaque tights, with a skirt.I also appreciate the fact that they haven't been fastened together with plastic tags that leave holes in the fabric.

I'm a slim 5ft 6" UK size 6 feet, & these are a snug fit. No need to pull them up through the day, but not too tight either. Perfect for people with diabetes who like knee high socks, probably OK up to 5ft 8". Clearly, if your feet are much larger or you're a lot taller, they might not fit as well. Otherwise, excellent value.

I bought these socks because in cold weather I like my socks to keep my lower legs covered. These socks did not even reach half way up my leg, but I kept them as I would still be able to use them in spring and autumn. I wore a pair for a day and when I took them off at night there was a deep ridge round my leg just above the ankle. I don't have fat legs or problems which could cause my legs to swell.All I can think is that they were designed for a small child with adult size 8 feet.II didn't return them because I had worn a pair. After washing they've been recycled and I have to start my hunt for knee high socks again.

Looked great until second wash where started to bobble. Bought for school, which started 4 weeks ago. Six pairs = around 4 wears each and holes appearing already. Terrible.
