These work great - easy to install and very effective
Great device - well made and easy to install, and they do a great job pulling subfloor to make firm contact with floor joists, eliminating squeaks at that point. Have used several of these over the years and they have never disappointed. Only dink is the Amazon price - they are a few dollars cheaper at Ace Hardware.

Basic simple installation
I'm satisfied with this product and the approach it uses to fix a squeak in a floor. As I was tightening the nut to bring the subfloor and joist together I could hear the squeak being compressed so I knew I had it in the right location and there was going to be an improvement in the floor squeak. Having a basement made the application very straightforward. You may need more than one, but for myself, I reduced most of the noise.

No Mess Easy Fix
Great Product. Works as advertised and fixed a squeaky spot on my hardwood floor. Literally took 5 minutes to get the squeak fixed. Have a few more spots that squeak and I am going to order a few more.

Doesn’t work on I-beam. Works on 2 x width only
Didn’t get to use as I don’t have 2x floor joints. I have I beam floor joist

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!
Very expensive and would need many of these to end squeaking. I ended up using wood shims which I tapped into the spaces between the flooring and the joist. Perfect solution and dirt cheap.

It Works!
We had a squeaky tile floor...the basement ceiling underneath it was not finished...but the available space on the basement ceiling was very limited due to duct work and plumbing. We were able to fit this in between all the things we needed to work around. It worked perfectly! Would highly recommend. No more annoying squeak.
