As others have said, this cage can be very difficult to put on. My experience was that after a few times it became easier. Be careful, though. It will bit you hard at the place where the where all the parts come together and the key goes in. Make sure you don't have any flesh trapped in the joints because when you insert the key it will bite you. I like this kind of cage because I prefer a hinged ring. The downside is that you have the difficulty with assembly and getting the thing locked. Some may not like the visual no padlock. The yellow tube in the photo is included in the package as a cover for the hinge at the bottom in case the hinge causes pain. I didn't have a problem and didn't need to use it. When I contacted the manufacturer's customer service I received a prompt and polite response. All-in-all, it's a nice cage and feels good when you have it on.

Overall, I love this cage. The ONLY reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the difficulty in putting it on. I really wish the ring was solid instead of hinged. Hinged seems unnecessary. If your ring is the right size, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to just pull your balls through it. The hinged design means you really need someone helping you put it on. Most of the time, I have help, but sometimes when my key holder is not in the mood to touch it, she tells me to do it myself. Once it's on, it's great. The open design allows for me to keep it clean in the shower between days that I'm permitted to remove it for thorough washing. It's the perfect length for my lil nub. Yes, erections are painful, but they are supposed to be when you're caged! Deal with it! Been using it for several months and haven't had any issues with rubbing or chafing. Overall, or performs better than more expensive cages we've tried.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: You have to be ambidextrous to get this thing on. I like that the ring is a clasp design but trying to hold the ring tight and fit the cage on into those two pin slots takes an act of a magician of sorts. It took a long time to get this on. It also pinches quite a bit trying to line up the pegs with the holes. OUCH! It takes one hand to hold the ring together tightly. It takes another hand to line up the cage between the ring and get those two pins in the hole without pinching the hell out of your skin, and it takes a third hand to insert the lock and line up the cage between the ring ends. Talk about an engineering faux pas. There has to be a manufacturer of a stainless steel device with a large ring and a small cage that doesn't take three hands to put on and without paying a King's ransom. The ring gets high marks because of the weight of the ring and the clasp design however it seems like "it takes two hands to handle a whopper" trying to hold this thing in place while trying to fasten the cage and lock it. The cage gets low marks because it's just hard to connect to the base ring and lock. The device is comfortable to wear once you get it on but makes a mess when trying to pee. ALAS! There has to be an easier way.

I put this on my lazy, no good baby daddy in lieu of having him jailed for non-paymemet of child support. His balls are a bit purple from conscrticted blood flow but so what, he won't be pumping out what he can't pay for. My only complaint is the difficulty getting installed on a non-compliant subject. It needs a wratchet/click mechanism like handcuffs.

Nice idea, hinged ring, curved ring and integrated lock. The entire package was just too small for me and I could not get it on.

Hinged cage is so much better than solid…fits as expected.. this is my 3rd cage from this seller…have tried others but always come back to Ternence

The base ring size is excellent for me. Love the hinged ring which did come with the little protector tube, the short length was my first short one and an experiment, which was actually okay, It can be difficult to assemble without getting pinched. For me the discomfrt os in the open tip design which becomes uncomfortable very quickly.
