These logs, delivered to our door, are a useful addition to our dwindling log supply. Being nice and dry, they are ideal for getting the fire going in the wood burner.

These are great 'cheat' logs to get some good, quick heat from your stove. Just be mindful that they do knock out a lot of heat quickly so just go one at a time, especially in something like a Morso Squirrel.

Do they produce more heat than wood? Yes. Do they last longer than wood? I wouldn't say so.Our fire type- Wood burning stoveThey do not take as quickly as I thought they would however they do catch and give a nice flame. They give off a lot of heat almost instantly once they catch and continue even after the flame dies out, however at this point they crumble easily so you need to put the next batch on well before this point otherwise they do not take at all.So will I be buying a bulk crate from my supplier for twice the price of our normal wood? No. I can get our kiln dried logs to go for over 45 minutes each and they are easier to top up. I will be sticking to the traditional method until a heat log comes along that can match the ease, burn time and price of conventional wood.

I thought these might just smoulder but they are brilliant.They don't last very long but I thought they worked really well and will buy more.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered these heatlogs based on the reviews that other people had left, saying they burned well and the flames lasted for a long time. However the logs I received didn't produce any flames whatsoever!! All they did produce was thick smoke. This video was taken after half an hour of lighting the logs using firelighters. Based on my experience I would not recommend them. I returned them to Amazon and received a refund.

Used these in our open fire, they give out a lot of heat and are very easy to light. They don’t last that long in open fire but these are handy to have if you need to heat the house quickly when coming home. I am very sensitive to smells and I didn’t notice any bad smell with them.
