Solid build works great,...but ..you will need to screw to your cab, so if you dont want to do that look elsewhere

A must have for mic’ing amps
This thing is awesome. Only complaint is I wish the mic arm was a bit longer so the unit didn’t have to be slid out of the mount a bit in order to accommodate the distance with the mic clip and SM57. But it works great overall and comes off easy for quick setup and takedown.

Not a clamp. Requires screwing into your cab. :(
Decent mic holder but it is not a clamp. It requires that your screw into your cab to mount a bracket that the mic stand portion slides onto. Sorry, but I’m not defacing my Mesa for that. Instead in wedging it between the top and bottom cabs with some cardboard to keep it in place. Not what I had hoped for.

Definitely worth adding to your rig
I have 2 of these now and they’re certainly worth the $$ for amps or speakers that need mic’d. Takes up no room at all and puts mic in same spot each time, easy to carry in ur bag or road case.I added a 45 deg adaptor to my mics so the cable doesn’t stick straight up, but rather follows the mount back downward instead. Less to snag on things or on stage.

Plastic mic clip threads, plastic mounting plate. Boo
I decided to keep it, but I may regret that. Too much plastic! It the whole thing was metal, it would be perfect. As it is, the mounting plate will probably break. The worst is plastic threads for the mic clip. Felt like it was cross threading immediately. I decided to just leave the clip on it forever and hope it holds up.I’d avoid it if I were you.

This "AmpClamp" does not "Clamp" onto anything.
"AmpClamp" is very deceptive. Pictures are very deceptive. This product doesn't "clamp" onto anything. It requires you to drill screws into your amplifier. It does not adjust at all. 1/10 would not recommend.

SCREWS INTO CAB!!! Doesn’t come with mic adapter for e906
Mic is spot on ever time but I’m Not a fan of drilling into a 1000$ Mesa cab and little disappointed it didn’t come with mic adapter for the e9006 but on their website it does, sent email to them a month ago still haven’t heard backGood concept I like the product but can’t use it with my mic They do have ones available that don’t screw into cab I found out after purchase
