Orbit 57078 100 Series Anti-Siphon Automatic Sprinkler Valve Diaphragm

I have an Orbit 57624 sprinkler valve which would not shut off. I replaced the diaphragm with one from this kit (it has two different diaphragms), and it works perfectly now.

I order the single pack and was surprised when it arrived with 2 diaphragms. I needed one with the pin hole thru the plastic and it worked great, the other must fit other listed part numbers. Orbit or the seller put some thought into the packaging to reduce returns and keep people happy. In the past I bought these from the Big Box stores and they are usually sold out. It's nice to get the product you want when you need it. Thanks for making this so easy, great job.

The unit worked for me, but it does not shut off. I have to do that manually. If you have an automatic system, you need the diaphragm that has the extra rubber tab that seals the control unit. I needed the 57045 repair kit.

Fixed valve without having to remove it and replace it. The old seal was very thin and dry, this replacement was much thicker, and easy to replace.Only used one. The other is for a different type.

I want to provide a little information for those who may have been like me struggling with leaks. I have Orbit 57623 valves that keep leaking from The diaphragm area. I have 5 of these valves and three of them leaked from the get go and could never get them to totally seal very well despite taking them apart a few times. These replacement ones so far seem to be doing the trick.1. Like everyone says, Orbit foolishly gives you two diaphragms and only one will fit your application. Essentially your forced to buy a piece of plastic and just throw it away. For that I down graded it a star.2. It looks like they upgraded the design. The original diaphragm I removed had a tab that sticks out and goes around the bleed valve. This tab is where all of mine were leaking. Before receiving these I though the shape of this tab was a weak design. So when you open your box, don’t flip out like I did initially. This diaphragm seems to have done the trick.If anything changes long term I’ll update this review.

From what I’ve read each package comes with two different pieces to assure you get the right one. One of my orders had two of the same type I needed to fix my leaky valve. Thank you!

If you have the one on the left, this kit won't work. Comes with the two on the right.If you have the one on the left, be prepared to replace your entire valve.

Did a lot of searching to find these. Great price, works perfectly since installed. Easy to install and should see me for another 23 years I hope.

You get both and older an more recent model diaphragm in this kit. You`ll only use one per valve you service. I had a few valves that would occasionally not shut off completely. Problem solved in less than 5 minutes.

I have returned the original replacement you gave me but you've returned me a second replacement that is exactly the same as the first.. What you are sending me does not have the small ring on the top like your picture. It only has the large ring. I tried the replacement in the valve thinking the small ring is unnecessary but the valve still leaks.You should not even get a "star". It was money wasted.
