Colour:Sample Swatch This is a specialist boat cover fabric that has a superior anti-UV as well as a polyurethane coating (PU) applied onto it, giving it a higher waterproofing ability as well as fade resistance. This is a 1000 denier strength fabric and is quite suitable to be sewn on a domestic sewing machine. This is a great fabric for making quality boat covers or any outdoor covers for that matter! It can be also used in making garden furniture covers, gazebo panels, sun umbrellas, pet clothing, camping accessories or just used as a good waterproof sheet for any purpose! Some examples of use are: boat, campervan, trailer covers, car hoods, garden furniture covers, or outdoor seat & cushion covers. Please Note: Denier count of a fabric refers to the top layer weave or thread count of that fabric and also determines the strength (rip-resistance) of the fabric. It does not refer to the actual thickness of the fabric - which is determined by the combination of other layers, such as coatings/treatments (polyurethane PU, UV treatment, or PVC lamination). Therefore, two 1000D fabrics from different suppliers may have different thicknesses & weight: e.g. thickness of a PU coated 1000D fabric will be a lot less, and its weight much lighter compared to a PVC coated 1000D fabric.
