These are great! They light up our steps perfectly. Very easy to install, it comes with a template.

I bought these for appearance, hire and look down some of the fixtures at big boxes, but there are some downsides. First, the color of the LED light is in the bright white category where as the other LED lighting around the house is the more traditional yellowish white. Not the end of the world, but the difference in light color is obvious. 2) don’t know the exact word, but the karystein angle of the white is very steep so for instance if you use them on a step that is 7“-8“ high you are going to end up with a super intense concentration of white that may not even cover all of a single step let alone multiple steps. You can sort of get an idea of this in the attached picture, but realize there that we built wedge shaped spacers to force the beam angle out over more of the sidewalk. Ideally these lights would be mounted on the face of a wall 24“ to 48“ high at which point they would light up a fairly decent sized area. 3) The headline in the listing says that they are low voltage, somewhere deep in the specifications there is a conflict in reference to 120 V, I bought them anyways and can tell you that they are categorically not low voltage, 120 V line voltage i.e. regular household electric. So, if you think you are going to run these as low-voltage off existing outdoor lighting transformer, that won’t work and in my case wasted the money buying a transformer that I never ended up returning. Also, the installation is quite a bit more complicated and expensive then low voltage, junction boxes at each white, GFCI in the circuit for code compliance etc. etc. Not sure that the picture will post, tried this earlier and it deleted all of my text so I’m not going to take a chance of that again.

The light looks great but the description indicated low voltage, the light requires 120 volt.
