Currently using this for recording medical information as my girlfriend is going through chemo treatment. It has great clarity and picks up voices that are across the room. Very easy and straightforward to use. Does exactly what we needed it to.

This voice recorder is a clear and easy recorder, I injoy hearing EVP in ghost hunting experience. I wanted a cheap and simple to use voice recorder and this is it. There is one problem though that is the voice recorder screen turn itself off which you cant see, the only way to see it is the red light glowing other than that is good. If you like or find ghosts/paranormal also interview this one is for you.

UPDATED!!! Worked great for a month then just stopped working can’t get my lectures off it. I only used the cord supplied and all that Jazz. Very unhappy with the quality and of course it’s just past the 30 day return policy.. UPDATE Its Thanksgiving and the sender refunded me anyway. Was very kind and the customer service was OUTSTANDING. Sometimes items malfunction but the way its handled leaves the lasting impression. Only reason I did not buy again was because i needed for school and went to store locally because i was in a bind. I recommend this seller as they carer about their customers satisfaction.

I've owned quite a few voice recorders throughout the years, and have always tended to purchase the more expensive brands. While my suspicion was that most models were generally the same, the thought of losing the recording of an interview that took weeks or even months to set up always made spending a little extra worth the expense.But with advancements in technology and the ubiquity of audio recording devices on various gadgets, I figured we had reached the point where recorders under the $50 price point could get the job done.While that might be the case for other such recorders, it is not the case for the Boocosa 8 GB voice recorder! The record is a switch rather than a button, which takes at least 5 seconds to start recording. It connected the first time I plugged it into my computer via USB, but that would be the last time, as the drive is nowhere to be found on subsequent connections. After a minute or so, the screen powers down, so you have no way to know if the device is still recording or if the battery has run out. The menus are as unintuitive as they are nonsensical.So, a truly awful product all the way around. If you rely on recording interviews, do yourself a favor and spring the extra $20 for a Sony or Olympus. Or if nothing else, avoid this handheld piece of trash with a mic attached and try one of the other low cost options.

I'm a graduate student for speech therapy (SLP), so I frequently have to record my clients to analyze their speech errors. This recorder effectively filters out background noise so I can more accurately assess my clients. I've never had problems accessing the sound files and listening to them later. By far the BEST clinical tool I've bought in a long time :)

I am a mental health counselor and I often record my sessions with certain clients for note taking. This recorder worked well for about 4 months, then just down on me and would not turn back on, taking about 4gb of recordings with it.

The media could not be loaded.  I didn't mention in the video, but it does come with a pair of headphones and cables. I was very impressed to see a toggle for the new MacBooks in there as well.
