I have been wanting to try a tongue scrapper for awhile so I finally ordered one. I am glad I did. I chose this one because it was all stainless steel and read reviews about the ones with silicone or rubber handles molding. I didn't want that so this was the one for me. This Health And Yoga(TM) Surgical Grade Stainless Steel Tongue Cleaner Scraper | Bacteria Inhibiting, Non-synthetic Grip | Sterilizable came sealed in a bag in the packaging. I did clean and sterilize it prior to use. It was easy to clean and sterilize since it is stainless steel. It does have instructions on the back of the packaging. I thought it was easy to use. I did brush my teeth first like the instructions say. I also rinse it off between each scrape across my tongue. I thought it was comfortable to use. I didn't press too hard and I didn't get any cuts or scrapes on my tongue. It is sturdy and well made but has enough flexibility to make using comfortable. Yes, it does take a bit of getting used using this at the back of your tongue - especially if you have a gag reflex but I was able to push through without much difficulty. There were no flaws on the scraper. It was smooth on the scraper part but the handle part has texture so it is easy to grip. It catches all the icky stuff. You can reshape it if you would prefer it was wider so you only have to do one stroke to get your whole tongue. I am fine with how it is shaped. I have noticed a difference in how better my mouth feels. It feels cleaner. I am glad I got this. I can't believe I waited so long to buy a tongue scraper. Don't wait - they are awesome! This one does a great job! I thought it was a good price too!

This tongue scraper is great. I've been wanting to improve the smell of my breath and I read that a tongue scraper can make a big difference. This one is nice because the handle allows you to squeeze the scraper to a smaller size to get far back on the tongue or on the sides. It is really easy to clean and the steel feels very clean. The scraper has a good weight to it and feels sturdy. It feels like very nice quality and I think it will last a very long time. I just wish it came with some sort of carrying case so that it is more convenient to travel with, but overall I'm very pleased with the scraper.

I ended up with Candida in my mouth (Thrush) after an 8 week IV dose of Augmentin antibiotics due to a nasty cat bite that landed me in the hospital for 4 days. My doctor gave me Fluconisol to get rid of it or if it reoccurred. That was in 2001 and the 18 years ever since! Needless to say my problem is both acute and chronic. My doc suggested scraping my tongue with a spoon. My present doctor won’t give me Fluconisol because it elevates liver enzyme levels. September 2018 Candida came back and without the prescription drug I was on my own. I searched Amazon for a Candida cleanse and found CandidaFX, herbal capsules that took awhile but destroyed the yeast. Relieved, I was upset to find out I was still having problems with very thick saliva. When I rinsed my mouth and spit it out you could see little things in it that looked like spores! Totally gross and my tongue was still coated with stuff. An Infectious Disease Doctor told me there was no Candida, but she could see “something” in my ears and nose, but didn’t know what it was! Not very comforting! She referred me to an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor. I couldn’t get an appointment for 7 weeks! On my own again. I Googled “what can grow in your sinuses besides Candida. An ENT website said Fungal Sinusitis is very common in people with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome! Great, I’ve had both for over 25 years! Nice to find out now! I went back to Amazon and searched for fungal cleanse. Turns out the same CandidaFX capsules work on fungus too. This kept it under control but didn’t destroy it. 20+ years of problems isn’t easy to overcome. I finally saw the ENT doctor and he was great. He prescribed some lozenges that I have to suck on 5 times a day and did all kinds of blood and allergy tests. He told me to scrape my tongue with something not too sharp. I’m so glad I found this. Brushing my tongue always made me gag so this is wonderful. I can’t wait to have all this disgusting stuff out of my head so I can really taste food again. When it happens, I’m going out for filet and lobster with lots of butter! Maybe a nice piece of chocolate cake for dessert! Because of the fungus, which I knew was hanging out on my toothbrush and comb, nail files and clippers, I bought one of those jars like salons and barbers use along with Barbacide concentrate (from Amazon, of course). I sanitize everything! This gadget fits real good in the jar and I don’t have to worry about reintroducing yesterday’s fungus back into my mouth. I have the jar right by my sink and a small bottle of Barbicide will last a long time so I can change the water often. I put my toothbrush in the clean solution then do all the rest. I’ve shared my disgusting tale with you all in the hope it will help someone else avoid 20+ years of misery. They say Candida and fungal infections are quite common. Lots of doctors know little about the problem. My present doctor is so grossed out he doesn’t even like to talk about it! Whimp! He’d rather talk about my liver!

I'm not sure if I buy into some of the health benefits that people claim about tongue scraping but I do know that using this a couple times a day seems to help minimize bad breath and a feeling of having bad tastes or texture on the tongue. I have been using it for a couple of months at least now. It seems to be made from high quality stainless steel and it is very easy to use and very easy to clean. I do wish I could bend it a little bit more easily to make the curve a little narrower, however, it still works quite well as it is. I don't know if I would recommend it unsolicited, but if someone was on the market for a tongue scraper like this, it seems like a well made one and I would recommend it.

Ok. This thing was DISGUSTINGLY EFFECTIVE! I bought it on a whim cause my mouth has been feeling really yucky since being a bit sick (you know what sick mouth feels like) and I thought for SURE it couldn't be such a big deal. This thing took off so much gunk from my *previously assumed clean* tongue I feel that I should personally apologize to everyone I've ever french kissed! It's great. Very easy to use and clean. Doesnt hurt my tongue but it's very effective. Didn't make me gag and I have a seriously bad gag reflex (seriously...so bad.) I would definitely recommend. Also considering buying one for my fella...also on a whim..."no honey your breath is fine I just thought it was grossly cool why do you ask?"...

歯ブラシで舌をゴシゴシしちゃダメらしいよ、味蕾っていう舌の毛みたいのが伸びるんだって。そんでこれ買ってみた！ スッキリしすぎる〜 この金属のままゴリゴリやったらそれまた味蕾伸びてきそうだから注意ね。そっとやるのがよいみたい。 私は舌の上にコットン１枚おいて、その上からコレをスライドさせてる、コットンが舌を傷つけず汚れとってくれるんで、おすすめ 使い終わったら水で洗って、無印のミニドーナツみたいな歯ブラシホルダーにさして乾かしてる。

This product is completely perfect

Don't use it at all, because it doesn't remove anything. Maybe there is nothing to remove. So I am just stowing it away in a draver in case I get sick and get that residue on my tongue which needs to be removed.
