Not only did I receive numerous compliments on how great my hair smelled, but it also made combing effortlessly easy. This product is really good! It smells heavenly and does the job. I have really dry/ damaged hair due to colouring and other chemical treatments and using this made my hair soft and manageable. I use it post shampoo and conditioner- using the bowl method. I have noticed if i do not use the bowl method, i am left with oily hair. Also use very less quantity and using more also will leave hair oily. I am needing heat tools less and less and i am able to manage my natural hair texture well with this. My daughter has curly hair and it works good for her also. Her hair is left softer and with better curls. Go for this product without a doubt!

I had been using this for quite sometime now. The texture is runny. Smells heavenly. It is easy to apply on hair and on scalp as well. Surely helps with hairfall when used appropriately. But drying time takes longer if applied on scalp. Unless much product is used, it doesn't weight down the hair. But it doesn't give enough moisture for 2 days as opposed to Cantu. It's a good product overall. But can't be used much for styling as it doesn't give definition. My hair look like i have applied oil, once after applying this. May not be the best for styling. But it's really good as a plain leave in.

I really love this product. I have tried various products to tame my curly and frizzy hair and this was the one product which complimented my hair the best. I was apprehensive about buying it at first because of the price but I just have to mention that the product lasts a LONG while so totally worth the price. I recently started using it as body butter too since its so moisturising and that's the only reason I finished my tub. Otherwise it would have lasted so many more months.

Before I get to what I liked and disliked about this product, I’ll say this: this didn’t suit my 2C-3A curls even one bit. I’m not sure why. It just made my hair a frizzy brittle mess. (I’m guessing this isn’t for protein-sensitive hair). I used this in several different ways on my hair before arriving at this conclusion. However, here’s a good news I discovered yesterday. I googled every ingredient in the ingredient list and have come to the understanding that while this didn’t suit my hair, it makes an excellent body butter! Pros: 1. Clean, high quality, fair trade ingredients which are great conditioners for both skin and hair! 2. A pleasant vanilla cupcake fragrance that isn’t too strong. 3. Keeps skin moisturised for 20+ hours. It didn’t suit my hair but works wonders on my skin! Cons: 1. Not suitable for protein-sensitive hair. 2. Made my hair dry and frizzy.

This is an Excellent leave in conditioner. I've been using this for over a month. I use it after shampooing on my semi dry hair.It has really softened my hair with regular use. Also adds shine, detangles and has improved the texture of my hair. It can make the hair a little greasy at times so a little goes a long way for my straight fine hair. All in all, I'm quite satisfied with the product even though it was a bit too expensive. But since it's a 16 Oz jar, it's gonna last me a long time. The seller shipped the product on time and I received it in excellent condition with appropriate packing. Highly recommend!

I have wavy curly hair which tends to get frizzy. This conditioner is expensive but is one of the best leave in conditioners for curly hair. It did not leave my hair greasy, was absorbed into my low porosity hair and made it very soft and manageable. This is in spite of the fact that the weather where I live is very humid. This is a goldmine for my hair. Thank you amazon for the delivery.

I have absolutely no Idea what positive effect this product has. Been using it for many months but looks like they are mixing the constituents haphazardly without anu research. At this price, the least it should be doing is keep hair conditioned which it doesn't. These expensive products in the name of some exotic natural constituents are actually a scam. Highly recommend not to buy it. I wonder why people give it positive review

This is hands down, the absolute best moisturizing, and softness generating natural hair product that I have ever used. When I first went to natural hair, I was thoroughly frustrated with the fact that after having used relaxers for years, my hair was very damaged and dry. Not to mention the fact that it had become nappier than it had ever been in my life! It was so hard to comb and manage that I went back to using relaxers. Once I did this, my usual head full of thick, longer hair, started to break off and became so short and uneven, I decided in anger and frustration, to just cut it off to within a couple of inches in length. One day while searching through the many products at Walmart for natural hair, I had no idea what to try. Then, by chance alone, a younger, African American female, walked over to the hair products, and chose the Shea Moisturizer. Hopeful that she might know more than I did about what was a good product, I selected what she selected...the Shea Moisturizer. And wow, am I glad I did! It made my hair soft and manageable! I started using it on my 2 granddaughters “mixed” hair and it worked really well on their extremely long, thick, curly hair! The only problem was, once that first jar was empty, I went back to several Walmart stores looking for it, and could not find it any where. That’s when I searched for the product on Amazon. I found it!🙌🏾 But my only complaint is that the price was almost TWICE what it was at Walmart!!! I hope 🤞🏾 Walmart gets it back because I can’t afford to keep using it on my hair and my 2 granddaughters at the Amazon price. But it truly is an excellent product...I just wish that I had discovered it before I cut all of my hair off.☹️ Diane

Wow & Triple Wow!! This product is amazing for my 3c dry thick frizzy hair I’ve battled with for years. I’m mid-50’s and use box colours on my hair and this product really came up trumps. I bought it on a whim and purely as it had so many high 5* reviews. I thought, all those reviewers can’t be wrong! I didnt hold out much hope at first as it was quite thin, but honestly this cream was like adding a layer of silk on my hair when wet. Fabulous slip and brilliant for finger combing out knots too. I didn’t need as much of this product as I thought either. Then the magic really happened when I added “Shea butter coconut & hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie” on top of this product. I flopped my head forward and scrunched it all in. It sounded really lovely and squelchy (as recommended by the ‘Manes by Mel’ methods I follow). Scrunch in well, it’ll be wet, but not so it’s drippping everywhere. Then flop your head back again and DON’T TOUCH IT. Leave it completely to air dry, THEN flop head forward when dry and ‘Scrunch that crunch” and voila!!! I was stunned. I had beautiful curls. Held well. Soft and not too crunchy. They hold well all day too. I’m made up. My hair hasn't looked this good in a while. The two products together are a perfect love affair in my opinion. Love love love. It’s my new go-to combination. I’m a very happy ‘curly’ bunny 😍
