Sam and the Firefly (Beginner Books(R)) Hardcover – Picture Book, 13 September 1958

Beautiful artwork, but the story and the writing was nowhere as good as that of PD Eastman's other books for children.Try Are You My Mother? and Flap Your Wings -- they are amazing books and every child who I've lent these to has loved them.

Great story!

Bought for a our 4 year old birthday, but my older kids loved it too. Captures every child’s attention. Owl (Sam)is a great friend to a stubborn little firefly who can get into a lot of trouble without Owl’s help. Very cute.

内容は気に入っています。中古なので仕方ないですが、21-24ページが重なり真ん中に挟まっていて破るしかなかったです。ちなみにそのページはカットされた後もありました。

Still loved by all children who read it. It now belongs to my grandson. He lives in Barbadosand can now take it to school out there to read to the other children who I am sure will appreciateit. I did not imagine I would ever see it again but thanks to Amazon I have been able to find allmy childrens old books including brilliant Johnny Crow's Garden. All the memories comeflooding back. Thank you Amazon.

Gefällt uns sehr gut. Die Bilder sind nicht sehr farbenfroh aber die Geschichte erzählt von einem Glühwürmchen das Wörter in die Luft schreibt und somit verschiedene Streiche spielt....
