These bad reviews here are misleading, in my opinion. Certainly, the book is in German only, so people with any language can use it. Especially for beginners it is at first difficult to decipher the exercise descriptions. But once this is done, it's fine. I work with this book for years now (up to B2.2) and I also know a language school that works for years with it - with good success. I find it well structured, with the grammer well integrated into thematical chapters, and also providing a broad approach to the language. The app with audio and video is nicely done, very helpful and gives also a bit of an insight into German culture. Students in general really like the book! It is probably easier to use the book with a teacher.

Excelente libro, todo wn oerfectas condiciones y con CD incluido

This book has a course book in the first half and a workbook in the second half. This book is all in German with NO English translations or any other languages. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend this book for absolute beginners who would like to self study. With a teach this is an excellent textbook and I especially love the workbook part where you do a series of exercises to help you remember what you've learnt.
