I used this for baking, bbq, air fryer, basically handling anything with temperature above 375 degrees. You definitely won't yell "hot, hot, hot" while hurrying to the nearest counter top or be surprised by the heat a tip some of the liquid onto your feet. Of course, it's not meant for you to hold onto something extremely hot for a very long time, but great for cooking. And a lot less burns.

These actually work and they work very well! I purchased some of the silicone ones to use with my cast iron and ended up burning my fingers, so I decided to give these a shot. I can hold a hot skillet for much longer than I can with regular oven mitts to do my cooking. Moving a skillet or dutch oven from the oven to the stove or onto a trivet without worrying of burning my fingers is great. It also grips the iron very well, which the silicone kind did not. I have picked up a hot skillet and held the bottom of it for at least a minute before the heat really started to penetrate the glove. There was no "steam" inside the glove that would burn your hand either. They also fit really well on my hands and my husbands. They fit well enough to ensure safety but they do have some give for those with larger hands. They were packaged nicely, as well, if they are intended as a gift.

Update: Sept 2018. Moved across the world, panic set in when I couldn't find them in the boxes. When found I felt relief because I still love these. 1st These are cool and work GREAT and here is why. The wrists get covered when moving items that are hot, they are comfy w/more dexterity than other silicone or winter mitt shaped pot holders. These are double lined cloth or fabric which make them comfortable to wear but there are a few things to know.1- hold the inner cuff to prevent pulling out the liner inside2- If they get wet you could get steam burned.3- not shown, both sides of the gloves are identical with rubberish grips so you can grab and put on fast4-fit is awesome since different sizes of hands will fit comfy with theseTrust me buy these they are worth the money.

At first I was excited about these insulated barbecue gloves. I like that they are thick and long to cover some of the arm and not just the hands. However, I was disappointed to find that only one of them has a hanging loop. What are you supposed to do with the other one? And then, yesterday when I was using them at the grill, I went to pull one off quickly and my sweaty hand stuck to the liner and the liner came loose from the outside of the glove. I eventually got the fingers of the liner stuffed back into their place, put you can guess that it was not a quick and easy task. I had to use other gloves for the time being because in the midst of grilling I couldn't stop and work at stuffing the liner back in place inside the thick gloves. I will not be as likely to use these again, especially since I need some kind of back-up gloves handy in case the liner comes loose again.

These gloves are awesome! I test them out by moving around some hot grill grates and they worked perfectly. I got a large which does fit but I could have probably gone with a medium, they fit my husband perfectly. Looking forward to doing some more cooking with these! Should also come in handy while camping with our scout group as well. Highly recommended.Update: As predicted, I was a savior at a recent winter cub scout camp-out. We had a dutch oven that needed to come off of the fire, some of the parents were unsure of what to do. I pulled out these bad boys and problem solved!Another update: I'm always getting so many questions and compliments about these at campouts! At our last, I'm pretty sure several families went home anticipating purchasing some.

Works great when removing racks, deflector shields or adding new chips with our Kamado Joe grill.Careful not to touch to the very tips of the glove where there is no protection and not to hold things too long.Works excellent even when the heat in the Kamado Joe is very high.Like the length so the hand and wrist are protected.

Ive been looking for heat-resistant BBQ gloves for ages. Finally found some that fit, aren't greasy when grabbing BBQ, can pull out my smoker shelves and feel no heat. Can even move around the wood in the smoker box w/o feeling any heat. They clean up super easy, fits your fingers and thumbs and pull way down to cover your wrist. Superb product. Will be buying several more pairs for XMAS gifts.

We received these gloves several weeks ago; my husband uses them for the new smoker we purchased and he absolutely loves them (paraphrasing for him). We haven't washed them yet-- and probably never will (must be a guy thing), so can't attest to how they hold up afterwards. Received a call from the company's customer support ensuring: we received the gloves in a timely matter, they're meeting our expectations, etc-- unexpected, yet very nice.
