Derwent Academy Colouring Pencils Tin (Set of 36)

My daughter is into colouring and she loves this set. The shading looks much more realistic with these colours. Little expensive but worth the price

Great for edc and the range helps in colour match for fantasy or even mandala drawing grlood option for a gift as the metal carry tin of 36 is perfect option. Blend ability is nice for the price. Would recommend as a product for artists either as a beginner or pro. Also would like to purchase again when back in stock . Got the watercolor pencil tin of 36 twice before it was out of stock as well. Would like to repurchase when back in stock

After much pondering between Staedler, Faber Castell and Derwent I ended up buying Derwent not only because of the brand quality and the reviews but also because I have used Staedler and Faber Castell before and I wanted to try Derwent. These are definitely a beautiful set of colours. I still cannot really choose between the 3 as I think they are all equally good and I use all of them depending on my mood and the art I'm working on. But don't let that stop you from going ahead and buying Dewent. As you can see from the attached photos, the colours are bright and soft at the same time. They layer and blend perfectly well and the pencils are smooth and buttery . I went for the set of 36 and I'm glad I did since the colours included are beautiful. Also, price wise they are very reasonable as compared to Faber Castell Polychromos. Also, unlike some brands where the nibs are soft and fall off, I have not faced such issue with Derwent. Please don't think twice, go ahead and try these.

Good quality product.

Colour quality is comperatively...it is ok quality. **Wood quality is poor** need to be improve. Leads are good. Any beginners can use it. It best product for beginners and children. But, in case of professional shouldn't go for it. This is absolutely for beginners quality product.

When I bought this is was expecting a wax based pencil. The colour range is... meh. It's not bad but not great, for this price point get steadtler colour pencils or doms... one thing I like about this is the metal box. It has a nice feeling on hands and I use this often for sketches. But too expensive anyway, save your buck and get a better set.

This is a really good product would definitely recommend buying it because they are begginer friendly, mix easily and are really bright colours they are extremely good for sketching

Hallo liebe Amazonler, was soll man schon groß zu Buntstiften sagen? Ich finde man brauch nicht ein mal viel sagen um erklären zu können warum diese Stifte jeder haben sollte der gern zeichnet. Sie sind schön verpackt und sitzen da auch relativ sicher drin. Die Stifte zeichnen sich wundervoll. Ich hatte noch nie solche leichten Stifte. Es fühlt sich an als würde der Stift für einen zeichnen. Die vorhandenen Farben sind ausreichend, kräftig und halten echt lange. Was auch daran liegt, dass sie äußerst stabil sind. Bei vielen Stiften ist man das ja gewohnt, fallen sie ein mal runter kann man die Mine im Stift vergessen. Das ist mir bei den Derwent Buntstiften nicht passiert. Viel mehr gibt es zu den guten Stücken auch nicht zu sagen. :) Ich empfehle sie jedem weiter, daher auch 5 Sterne!
