Amazing wifi sensor! I decided to get a sensor long time ago for home security. This compact wifi door sensor exactly meets my needs. It is easy to mount the sensor anywhere. I finally installed it on the big window of my living room facing a small forest, where I always feel unsafe. It works great! Very easy to connect to my smart phone. I love the idea of this product and it started out working but within 2 days the app wasn’t notifying me of open or closed door anymore. Tried updating, reinstalling, searching for solution on internet...no success. Next day it started working again but within a few minutes of that it is now stuck on open door, regardless of if the door is open or closed. I have again tried resetting, deleting and reseting device but no luck. It does not work. The product is glitchy and not useful to me. I need consistency.

Updated to 2 stars, initially gave 1 because some trouble pairing. There is a tiny button that isn’t very obvious, but all 3 did eventually pair.Now that I’ve been using them for about 3 weeks I can see that they miss openings / closings intermittently. So if you are wanting them to monitor that a door is actually closed they are not trustworthy (or the app just doesn’t list them).I use them to make sure my pet care people have been there, so I’m not really monitoring open vs closed, just that activity happened. So technically they are sufficient for this use. However last week all 3 just randomly unsynced with the app and I had to pair again. When it happened it looked like no one had been there so I worried unnecessarily about my dogs.I’m concerned this will happen again so I’m considering returning them while I still can.

It's nice and discrete. Easy to connect but the notification for when the door opens and closes turn off.

I have been deciding whether to go all in with Z wave or buying WiFi devices one by one. After searching around I figure no hub is better so I chose WiFi. This brand seems to have a little bit of everything from door sensor to motion and smart outlet. This door sensor works great as it pairs easily with the APP. AP mode is the way to go.

I was searching for similar product for a long time. Until i got this from one of my friend as a gift, and immediately after use i bought another one. It is easy use and designed cool.I live in an apartment that sometimes have inspection, which the maintenance guy will come in and check stuff. However, i have a cat and will easily escape if the door/window haven't been closed properly. So i bought the product to put at the front door and the glass door to the balcony.I always put a door tag to remind the maintenance guy to close door properly before leaving, but this gave me a double security. And even last time i met the maintenance guy who told me that fortunately that i install this, he actually forgot to fully close the door after he left my apartment at first time, and the cat is approaching to the door. He right come back to close the door after hearing the alarm. And it compatible with Alexa is a great plus.

This thing does not work; unable to stick properly on a door frame where the sensor recognizes each other. Also, unable to connect it to the app, or have it connected to my google home mini. All in all awful product, which I could’ve returned this but opened it too late and was past the return period. I do not recommend at all.

Getting it to talk to my phone is a convoluted process. And when the communication stops, getting the connection re-established is no better. At this point, although it's battery is full, I can't get them reconnected anymore. :(When it worked, it did work well.
