Hikari Baby Gold Fish Gold Pellet, 100gm

I give this food as an addition to the other food. The other food is low in protein and more plant based. As soon as I gave this the growth kicked in. It is heavy so you cant give ONLY this food. Mix it in with other food or give it once a day and other lighter food other time of day. My Goldfish and Guppy both shown growth and improved health. Their fins started showing more structure and colour. The fish absolutely need this along with other low priced food you might be giving. It is a nutrition heavy food. Good fr this brand as always gives high quality!

Probably the best food for my orandas as it don't cause any bloating or digestive problems neither clouding water. Maybe some will find it on expensive side but its totally worth it for the quality you're getting which will be visible within a month of feeding like natural bright colouration, growth, healthy scales fins and robust immunity.

Though this is a specialized food for gold fish, I thought of giving it a try for my tropical fish (swordtails), since this food is much more economical than other hikari foods i am feeding my fish. Straight to the point, my full size adult swords easily swallows it, while the smaller and mid-size fish find it difficult to consume. They are more comfortable with hikari micro pellets and optimum 3 in 1 (yellow packet). Surprisingly my Beta loves it more than its beta food. It consumes 10 pellets much quicker than optimum beta food. I am feeding this in the morning , and other specialized tropical pellets in the evening. No wastage after 10 minutes, though I feel my pets like like hikari micro pellets. To conclude, I believe this one should be the best choice for gold fish, the claimed baby pellets should be perfect for all life stage gold fishes. The pellet size is slightly bigger than optimum mini pellets. The stock i received has still two years shelf life. The discounts are genuine from the MRP. Finally Gold fish would definitely like this, since all my past hikari food I used were liked by the respective fish breeds.

its costly food for fish but best food in market

I have been using this product for more that 10months and i am satisfied with it. Initially my fishes experienced a lot of problems when i was using a cheap product; their color faded and many sort of problems occurred. But after using this product my fishes are healthy, colors started to glow and they re having a good growth as well. Please avoid those cheap products in the market if you genuinely love your existing fishes.

Excellent product for the fish, not it dirty the water, nor it makes the fish die. Excellent.

NOT sure if fish likes it. Seriously. I bought maybe imported food would be better for her, or she will like it. but she just constantly stares at it. And is preferring locally procurred food only. Smell is awfull. but i dont blame the product. Maybe she grew up liking 2nd class material and will take time to adapt to 1st class.

Purchased for my 4 Common Goldfishes, they refused to eat this. Size of Pellet is slightly big for a small goldfish of 1 inch. Water smelled foul after adding this. Optimum is better than this. My Goldfishes love to eat Optimum and have grown well after eating it.
