Strong and sturdy bowls

I purchased it to give as gift. But did not use it for the same. It looks good but very small. For the money paid i feel it could have been little bigger.

The diameter mentioned as 4inch but it is actually slightly more than 3.5inch,this means a huge difference in volume, the quality is good.

You can see in the pictures rust is showing . Why it is appearing though its a brass item .I don't think it's brass , it's iron with brass polish. I m using it for my puja and I feel very bad , seeing these stains
