Batik Quilts: Best of Fons & Porter It is always exciting for me to find a new title to add to my top 10 list of quilting books. When I received my copy of Batik Quilts: Best of Fons & Porter my list finally made it to four titles. I have many books with one or two great patterns and/or tips and techniques. Fons & Porter's newest book is a must have. As I looked through the patterns there was only one or two I did not want to try. It is laid out beautifully and instructions are clear and easy to follow. I have been a avid quilter for the past 10 + years and often design my own patterns. This book gives me many new techniques to explore and incorporate in to my own work. I was inspired!

This is a great book to add to my library. I hope to use several of the patterns. The pictures are inspiring. Instructions are clear.

I love having all the great patterns together. I only gave it 4 stars because several of these patterns are in other books that I also paid premium prices to get.

Love this guide

Bought this book for the quilt on the cover. Have not started it yet but would expect the directions to be clear and easily followed. The other quilts are just as likable and I'm sure I'll make more than one.

I love the quilt on the front of the book and plan to use it and some of my stash to make a king size quilt. I was looking for something that used batiks in a different way.

The book arrived in good condition as I have always found with Amazon. There are some nice quilts but I felt they lacked inspiration and this book was not as good as others of theirs I have purchased. However, I realise we all have different tastes. One thing I have learnt is not to purchase a book with the 'look inside' feature.
