Satori Animaris Bicycle Suspension Seatpost Choose Different Sizes

Found that the workmanship was excellent, really smooths out the bumps on my townie go electric bike. There is actually a rubber insert that cushions the ride. The spring returns it back up.

Bought a new Trek DS 2 bike. I'm used to my old comfort bike (Trek Navigator 2.0). The new Trek was not as comfortable to ride. The seat it came with is a sport gel seat. Need more cushion for my old butt. Well this Satori Animaris is taking the abuse off my old butt. It is a pleasure to ride this bike now. Price point was where I wanted it to be (already spend $620 on the bike) so didn't want to spend $100 or more for a suspension seat post. This Satori Animaris is really worth the $50 I spent. You can adjust the spring tension which I like. The black flat paint matches the paint on my new bike perfectly. Only rode it for 15 miles since I put it on and I can tell you that my weekly rides of about 90-100 (total) miles is going to be pleasurable ones. I mainly ride on a track which is a hard dirt/clay with many bumps. The ride felt great after installing the seat post. Before the new seat post I rode it for 40 miles with the non suspension seat post and my butt and my back were sore. This Satori is really taking the abuse off. Having said that very happy with the purchase and highly recommend it.

I have a specialized stump jumper. I asked about for size info. A smartass answered why would you want a suspension post for suspension bike. DUH it's a hardtail. Thanks for not answering my ? So i got it and it did not fit. 30mm might have. Anyway I cut 4 inches from the length then sliced 2 inches vertically up the remaining shaft with jig saw metal blade and the tube was able to collapse enough to fit in my frame. Good luck to all those who need it.

just got it and tried out, seems constructed well. It sqeeks when suspending/ moving; Limited travel , stiff so far,su good for my road bike. But prefer suntours for my rougher light trail riding. Will see how it breaks in
