BPL 564 L Frost Free Side-by-Side Refrigerator(BRS564H, Steel)

Even kids also able to get the water without opening the doors now and playing with it.... best to buy..I order this item and I know about its dimensions too. But when it was actually in front of me, it looks so big than what I thought. It has 2 huge doors, one side for cooling and the other one for freezing. Its a 4-star refrigerator so power consumption is good.The body and its finishing are awsome. Comes up with AI buttons. It has loads of space and runs silently. I love its water dispenser too, it can have water without opening doors.Here are my thoughts about the PROS and CONS of this item:PROS:1. The build of the product is great.2. Power consumption is good as its a 4 start refrigerator.3. It comes up with wheels so that you can move around whenever you wanted.4. It beeps if you forgot to close the doors.5. Perfectly suitable for a big family.CONS:1. No built-in stabilizer.2. Some heating on the left side and its more than usual.3. Freezer space is way more than required.

This is a great side by side refrigerator available at a bargain. There's not much tech that goes in everyday refrigerator. The options are mainly invertor or non-invertor based compressors and then maybe the refrigerant used. Didn't really had any particular option in mind.I wanted a good looking refrigerator at a great price. This refrigerator fit the bill on both counts. It looks good and is a real bargain(specially with exchange). The giant is huge and weighs around 100 kgs with all the packaging still on, though our society’s lift was accommodative for it.The water dispenser looks cool, but at the same time it also becomes a pain if some water drips. Wipe it away ASAP as it doesn't looks good. Basically the dispenser is a water box with a dispenser attached on the front of the fridge. So you fill in the water, the water box gets cold and so does the water. Then you use the dispenser in the front to take out water. The water box is around 3 litres.The refrigerator is actually manufactured in China by Hi-Sense which is the same company which manufactures Vu range of TVs and some Sharp products. Manual is very limited. Even the function(holiday function) advertisied on the website and the packaging has not been detailed in the manual.The installation it seems has been outsourced atleast in Banaglore.This is something which is delivered generally in trucks. Many cities have restrictions on large vehicles movement. Maybe because of this it was delivered, a day earlier at 0630 AM in the morning. So you may get an early morning or late night delivery.Few TIPs :TIP 1 : While the refrigerator components (trays, dispenser etc.) are being installed. Go and wash the water dispenser complete assembly. You can do it later as well if you ar comfortable in deassembling and assembling abd fixing the same on your own later.TIP 2 : Don't wait for technician to come and install the refrigerator. Though Amazon might have scheduled an installation I would recommend that you give BPL a call and ask for installation.TIP 3 : Get a Fridge liner / Fridge mat. It looks cool.TIP 4 : It has a 16 Amps / power plug. So you would need a big wala socket for this thing. I doubt this would take a lot of energy, but maybe because of high startup current this was done.

I've purchased this BPL Side by Side Refrigerator in October 2019. It's really a value for money product since last 4 years It's working without any issues even though there were power cuts / voltage fluctuations in our area, we have never faced any problems.We bought this Refrigerator at a very affordable price with special festival offers on Amazon and very much satisfied with It's quality and performance.Unfortunately the product seems to be discontinued now but in case need arises, the service shall be available since very similar products are available in the market now 😀

The refrigerator itself is of good quality, but the post-sale service leaves much to be desired. Instead of having a dedicated service center, they rely on third-party service providers. The individuals at these third-party service centers seem to be eager to charge customers at their own discretion, with service quality seemingly dependent on their mood. I strongly recommend against relying on this brand's post-sale service. I've experienced significant frustration and have decided to purchase another refrigerator.I was contacted by two third-party service partners from the company. The first individual, Mr. Sudhir Jha from Sangam Enterprises, charged me 4600 rs the first time when he contacted me to fix issue. A few days later, the refrigerator stopped cooling again, so I called him, and he charged me an additional 2000 rs. Despite this, the refrigerator was not fixed and started making noise.Subsequently, I complained to BPL, and they assigned a new service provider. I received a call from Mr. Nizam, who explained that they were unable to send a technician due to the considerable distance. He also clarified that BPL would not cover any costs associated with the service. If they did send a technician, I would be responsible for the expenses. Additionally, he informed me that if there was an issue with the compressor, the company would arrange for a replacement within a month or two. Furthermore, he mentioned that in case there was a problem with the compressor, they could also provide a second-hand compressor with gas refilling at an approximate cost of around 10000 rs.I have shared my experience in the hope that it may help someone avoid wasting their money.
