Crucial 4GB DDR4 1.2v 2400Mhz CL17 SODIMM RAM Memory Module for Laptops and Notebooks

Works great with an Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G-58GJ running Windows 10 Home. Pairs well with the 4GB of onboard soldered DDR4 RAM on the notebook. I didn't experience any BSODs or random crashes after installing the memory so no issues there.The memory module consumes 1.2 volts (according to CPU-Z). I've attached AIDA64 memory benchmark scores as well as GeekBench scores (which bumped up by at least 1K after installing the additional RAM)You should be able to open more programs and switch between them faster after installing this memory module. Also if like me, you too like to open 100+ tabs on Google Chrome, this should help.My only concern was the less than stellar packaging when the product arrived at my doorstep. There was no box, and the product was packaged inside a flimsy clamshell package with just a little price tag attached to it. No tamper proofing, either. At first glance, it kinda looks like you got stiffed and received a fake product but memory benchmarks immediately disprove that theory.Crucial/Amazon can definitely improve the packaging here.Overall, 10/10 would recommend.

after inserted RAM, Laptop doesn't start. I have checked in my laptop as well as my friends laptop, same problem exist. Even the seller doesn't allow to return the product. So, I contacted amazon for further process. Now I don't trust this brand and I never recommend this to my friends and family. This is a very bad experience from amazon.

Go to crucial.in website , scan your laptop with an inbuilt software. After the scan it would recommend the suitable ram type for your laptop. There is an option called buy online below each recommendations, clicking on it will directly lead to amazon.in. buy it. As simple as this. It's a simple DIY, don't waste money going to a service centre. Crucial rams are priced half of what branded ram's price are. Also authorised by many top laptop companies. Go for it.

Bought for Lenovo 310 15ISK running latest version windows 10 pro 64bit, this laptop comes with 4gb 2133Mhz ram soldered on to the motherboard with one ram slot vacant for upgrade,as i dont use it for gaming, got a 4gb stick for 1.3k, even though this ram is 2400mhz, both are now running at 2133mhz automatically .Plugin and it worked fine. No issues. best budget cheap ram for ram upgrade, crucial comes with 10 years warranty too. just go for it.

Package delivered in just 2 days ,package was seal packed in company packing ,product is 1k cheaper than the other brands ,it was easy to install in the laptop ,after plugging it in there was no visible effect on the boot time of the laptop ,I bought it mostly for increasing gaming performance and tell you what the gaming performance increased from 0-100 after putting this piece of semiconductor in my laptop ,before games like battlefield 1 ,battlefield 4 ceased to run on my device but this son of a bitch made them playable at very good fps (40-50fps) .Highly recommended 👍👍👍

Update : It is a working really good now. I can open 19-20 apps available in my pc and still no lagging because of it. I am really glad and crucial is one of the best brand !Combine extra ram with ssd and wow ! Your life will be changed for sure !I think it's okay. Received yesterday, installed it today on Dell vostro 3478. It was detected in first time boot up after installation in bios set up. But it took quite few more minutes (than expected) to completely load and show the total ram installed ( 4 original + 4 new ). And it does show 8gb, with 7.70 aprox useable.I don't know yet how much my laptop is improved. It does takes time loading, opening files, folders. May be I will see it later someday. It is a good buy though. MRP is Rs. 2100. Got it for 1399.

Ayyayyo!!I bought this for my Dell Vostro 3478 14 inch i3, and the memory module shows up fine in BIOS and Windows but it has become even more slowerer now and there is constant hanging for a fraction of a second all the time. I then ran Crucial's system scanner which did not list this item no. as a possible upgrade. This item is not returnable also :(( So whoever is thinking of buying this, run Crucial System Scanner and only then proceed but be wary of this item.Barla

I recorded a non functional one initially!My laptop didn’t even turn on after I installed it!Got a replacement and installed that (all the while praying to God!!, as it is a non refundable product), and thankfully this one worked well!!Why on earth did the seller send a defective item first???? Poor salesmanship to say the least

I've installed this memory into an HP Laptop. After grappling with HP's ridiculously over-complicated opening procedure, the module slotted in perfectly. No compatibility issues. The device just recognised it at first power-up and the O/S had no problems with it, either.

Bought to upgrade a Ryzen laptop from 4gb single channel to 8gb dual channel, worth every penny because it improved performance two-fold, it gave the iGPU twice the memory bandwidth so it gave a good boost in frame rate and the extra ram available to windows.

I bought this to upgrade an 2 year old laptop. Paired with a 250gb SSD the laptop was like a new machine.I haven't bought anything by crucial ram for years. Always good quality and I have not had a failure yet.

Brought one of these in july and it has gone bad already and no way to contact the seller to get a replacement also advertised as a crucial product the one i received was a samsung stick not impressed at all.
