Stainless Steel Dinnerware Set 40 Pieces, Service for 6

I knew I might be taking a risk ordering from a seller that didn't have any reviews when I bought it but the deal was too good to pass up so here's the nitty gritty.Pros : My guests are always impressed by my shiny dishware, they are hardy & don't break unlike my ceramic and glass dish sets that bit the dust (all 3 sets of them in 6 years- my husband is a butterfingers) , can go in the toaster oven and keeps food hot while waiting for other foods to cook, doesn't take up lots of space in the cupboard . Bowls are perfect for snacks and small portions, can be put in the dishwasher without discoloration warping etc, and good quantity for the price. Good sized serving bowls with good fitting lids.Cons: came with a fine layer of black dust despite everything being wrapped to death in plastic that needed washing, and left dark spots on my kitchen towels that didn't go away , the silverware are to flimsy to use on anything heavy with & hard to cut or scoop like ice cream and meat and are really small- perfect size for my children who aren't hard on silverware but not adults and we arent big people. The things I thought were pots are actually serving dishes with serving spoons in them ( I still like both) . Hot when holding them with hot foods can scald hands, the cups have a thin sharpish edge that are uncomfortable on the mouth unlike the folded over edges on the bowls and plates, and the sticker with the manufacturer sapphire was covering another sticker with another name and there was another sticker on top of that on other parts of the dishes that created a goo that had to be scraped off. The medium sized bowls in the set are small and shallow as we are big eaters . They are also very lightweight compared to the other stainless steel items I have from my local Indian store.All in all these are good hardy dishes despite my misgivings about how they were packaged and ruining my good tea towels, they stand up to my vigorous scrubbing to clean them and will last a long time.

Good thought bowls and cups would be bigger

Love my dish set. So happy with this purchase. As a family of 5, it was nice to have dishes for all in my household. Perfect size for even little hands to drink from the cups.I did purchase separate bowls from another company for cereal, soup, etc.This is much like a thali set which are difficult to come by at a reasonable price. This set fit the bill for it's purpose.Only issues was the box had a mustycsmell. However this is probably just related to how it was stored. My other issue was the handle for the food serving bowls. One knobs hole was just a tad too big to be secured with the included hardware. No biggie- can order small knobs online or pick up at a hardware store. The dishes were complete, wrapped for shipping, and nothing was missing. Washed by hand, air dried and ready to go!No stickers were on my set. Just individual plastic sleeves for the items. Would recommend for those looking for a household set, travel set for camping or those who like stainless steel for the easy cleaning and the hygienic use of such a set.

Bought to use for something unbreakable at our cabin where we frequently eat outside and trying to reduce the use of paper plates, cups and plastic silverware. I like that the plates are good sized and easily sterilized. They stack nicely for limited space. Not sure how long the silverware will last. They are very flimsy but may do ok for the kids cereal, snacks & condiments. I had seen reviews about the bowls being small. I like the small size and medium size as we are trying to keep our portion control in check.Stickers on the cups are annoying. I spent an hour trying to get the glue off after the sticker was removed. Still didn’t get it all. Hoping the dishwasher will help. There is no reason for these stickers and I would like to buy another set but dried getting them off. The cups have a rough edge but not enough to be harmful.Liked the bowls with lids. Will work fine for a slaw or relish.I own allot of stainless steel dishware and fine these to be lower end but perfect for what I will be using them for.

I have 4 teens and am slightly old fashioned in that I have been building hope chests for them for when they move out with items I find on sale or even 2nd hand. I'm including sturdy and environmentally friendly items like dishes and cups, cast iron cookware, cleaning linens and rags in their favorite color, stoneware, etc. Anyways, these are perfect. I did add additional metal bowls as the included bowls are not big enough for a good bowl of chili or a big bowl of junk food cereal.

I purchased this set for my children and I was excited when they arrived. I opened the shipping box and all the packaging was dirty and dusty but to me it didn't matter at the time. I washed them and after ONE use the paint was rubbing off and everything was rusting. After ONE use!! This product is light and feels cheap compared to my other stainless steel plates and cups. I regret buying it. No way I'm feeding my kids on these plates! Bad product and totally not worth the price. Buyer Beware these may look enticing in the phots but in reality they are not a good investment. I DO NOT recommend buying. The eating utensils are so thin and sharp (see last pick compared to my silverware). The cups, serving bowls, and eating utensils are sharp are not safe for young children. Please buy better quality stainless steel dinnerware. On top of all of this customer service kept trying to offer refund+10% more if only I took my review down. Totally Unprofessional! I would not want another parent like me to purchase this "stainless steel" dinnerware for their child.

Nice quality set. No sharp edges as In a previous review. Items all looked clean , but I washed them anyway’ in dishwasher with no change in appearance. Some stickers but a little eucalyptus oil on a cotton ball melt them away. Thank you I would buy this again.
