Outstanding mufflers for half the price of the 'big name' brand mufflers! Super easy to install (with the lone exception of having to cut off the factory mufflers - not Gibson's fault, GM's fault), they went on at my local muffler shop in not much more than 20 minutes, and they only charged me $100! As for the sound, they are the closest sounding to a V-8 for the V-6 Camaro. If you cruise at 2K rpm you can even induce enough drone to sound just like a V-8 with after-market exhaust - they sound that close! Of course if you rev too high, you'll blow your cover - so don't, you'll save gas too! I highly recommend these mufflers, a LOT of bang for your modest bucks! Buy them!

Easy install! Job complete in 30 minutes. The brackets were off but managed to bend them to get the tips centered. Sounds great for a 6 cylinder. No matter what muffler you put on a V6, you will never get that V8 rumble, but at idle its hard to tell the difference with the Gibson Exhaust. It also looks very nice with the larger tips.Update; after about 500 miles the sound has gotten deeper!

I purchased this system over others I looked at because it was rated as a mild to moderate sound…yep…ok. I was looking for something a “little” more aggressive than the stock exhaust and it looked like this was the right thing, but no.It is a very well built system. It sounds great when you start the car…very throaty and deep, and has a great crackle when shifting gears, but on the highway in 6th gear the droning sounds like I have a cow in the back seat! Mooooo!So, I’m probably going to cut the mufflers off and replace them with something else if not go back to stock.

Not too loud, not too quiet, does have a slight tinny noise in high rpm. It is very well made and fits great

This axle back system sounds great. The instructions were pretty straight forward as to where to cut existing exhaust, etc. However, I would highly recommend buying some heavy duty 2 1/4” exhaust clamps. As I hit the provided clamps with my impact they immediately stripped out and were useless. I then reverted to Plan B and fired up the welder rather than seek out heavy duty exhaust clamps. If you don’t have a welder handy, then be proactive or line up to go to an exhaust shop for install. Can’t speak to how well the exhaust tips bolt on as I ended up welding them as well. They do look great installed.A little secret to allow the old mufflers and new mufflers to slide into the hangers with ease, spray them with a quick spray of silicone or other penetrating solvent. Works like a charm!Deducted one star for having to break out my welder, but I feel better with this install and not having to “check tightness” of poor exhaust clamps after 25-50 miles as suggested in the instructions.

Just had them installed by a local muffler shop. Sound is perfect! Not too loud at slow speeds, but louder when you accelerate. Direct fit for my 2012 camaro V6.

Now I can say that my 2012 Camaro sounds like it should. Very happy with the product and had the exhaust installed by a professional. Funny as I have noticed that several people have looked in my direction to see where the rumble was coming from. Cold start-up sounds insane!! Once it settles in and you drive away, the sound levels out to an even rumble. Very happy about this purchase.

Love the sound and performance, but the install was difficult. The clamp for the tips did not hold well over the muffler. We had to modify/weld the tips on.
